After the sold-out success of the 2-night concerts by The Platters & The Drifters at Marina Bay Sands Theatre in 2013, MediaCorp VizPro and JP Live are proud to bring The Platters back, in a doublebill concert with Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers to Solaire Resort & Casino, Manila on 9 May, and to the Marina Bay Sands Theatre, on 10 & 11 May. This is right after Bill Medleys 8 city tour in Australia.
Bill Medleys "YOU'VE LOST THAT LOVIN' FEELING" is ranked as having had more television and radio airplay than any other song in history, according to Broadcast Music, Inc (BMI).
In 2003, The Righteous Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Three #1, Seven Top 10 & Thirteen Billboard Top 40 Hits; including: "YOU'VE LOST THAT LOVIN' FEELIN' from the movie Top Gun, "UNCHAINED MELODY" from the movie Ghost, "(YOU'RE MY) SOUL AND INSPIRATION" and Medley scored another monumental hit, from the movie Dirty Dancing, "(I'VE HAD) THE TIME OF MY LIFE" which sold 14 million copies, earned an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Grammy.
