was wondering what cake to get for my dear sister when i saw this shop. What interest me is not the shop's non - exaggerate design, but the signage. Yes, the signage actually says that they uses D24 durians for their products.
Ok, i think its pretty rare to find one shop that uses D24 durian puree to make its pastries. Thus, i decided to try their products. Pointing to the dome shaped yellow cake, i asked the staffs following questions: 1) Is the entire cake made of durian? 2) Is this the last piece of cake? 3) What other cakes do you have? 4) Which one tastes the nicest? 5) Does the cake contains of any moose?
Was pretty surprised that the staff answered every single questions with patient. Being satisfied with the answers given, i bought the dome shaped cake back home.
Oh, not forgetting the cake tasts fabulous. Although it is not make of durian puree entirely, the smell of the durian and the taste of the durian is still of a sufficient amount. Durian puree are spread generously between slices of sponge cake One will bound to taste the durian puree with every bite of the cake. Definitely worth the price payed.
