Tucked in the (outside) basement of PP, this outlet can be overlooked unless you are looking for it, or if you are walking over from Marine Parade Central.
It is small and cosy, like a ramen shop in Japan. Watch your step as you enter, as the is a flight of stairs leading down. As usual, the staff are warm and friendly and greet you politely. Be warned that space is at premium here and tables are placed quite close to each other. Your next table neighbours will probably be listening in to you conversation. But that's also the charm of an authentic Japanese ramen bar!
The menu is quite standard and a bowl of ramen costs about $10 and up. A set meal of ramen, ala carte appetiser and glass of green tea is about $13. Very satisfying!
For the adventurous, you may choose a higher chilli level and feel your stomach burn!
