As i'm currently working in the area, I've tried this a few times. To me, there’s usually a much shorter queue than the other Astons' outlets (namely the outlet at cathy which has I’ll probably faint of hunger before I get to eat). However, based on my observation, do try to go in the start of the week as it seems that the working people in the area tend to ‘celebrate’ the end of the week with Astons.
This branch is situated in the food court, and hence, u get a food court ambience. A very affordable place for western food, U get to choose a main with 2 side dishes. I tried the hickory chicken and had potato salad and onion rings for sides. The chicken was served with sauce which was nice at the beginning but tasted abit overwhelming at the end. However, you can easily scrap off the sauce if u don’t like so much. Overall, still a nice main to have. The onion rings were so so to me but I liked the potato salad. Highly recommended by colleagues was the baked potato, which I’ll probably try on my next visit.
A downside is that be prepared to wait for your food, especially during peak hours. However, I like that this branch is in a food court, especially when dining with older colleagues who would not want to have western food. They can have their usual rice food while I enjoy my western food..

Although this was named as Astons Express but apparently was not very express as we often had to wait like 20 mins for our food. Meaning other colleagues who have started eating before us would have finished their food and sat there waiting for us before we start on ours. Hence usually we would order together if we want to eat Astons so that none have to wait. Still it eats into our time and reduced the time we would usually use for coffee elsewhere.
Food was not bad, I've tried the Grilled fish with herbs or something. Fish was tender with no strange smell, the herb sauce was great too, compliments the fish meat and made it sweet. However it looks a bit lame on a damn big plate. Perhaps due to the light colour of the meat and sauce. The baked potato is a must try even if you are ordering as a side dish though many may dislike the flaky texture but the potato taste great~ (suspect they may have added something to add to the taste but I'm not sure what)
A nice change from the normal food court food. Good to try once in a while but do get a seat before ordering as they want table no.
