For people who have not been to this place, I would suggest that you find a time to go to this hawker centre at ECP. It has almost everything you can find at any hawker centre - carrot cake, duck rice, chicken rice, dessert and drinks stall, fishball noodles, satay etc. But they have one of the best ones around! I'm sure this makes it slightly more attractive than the other hawker centres around.

For those who have been here before, I'm sure you agree that it is not an ideal place to go with a large group of friends. Being a popular place, it is always packed during dinner time. It is hard to find a table for two, let alone for a large group of friends.

Nonetheless, I'd still suggest that people go try the food here. There must be something about this place that attracts so many people there (perhaps the atmosphere and the buffet of choice!)

Yes I agree! I've been to this place once. Never heard of it actually, though it is supposedly a very popular place (or so I've heard). When I got there, I thought it was some random place you'll find at district 10, but when the food was served, it proved that it was not just "yet another place around the block".

This place is definitely for meat lovers, especially those with a super HUGE appetite! It's almost like a eat-all-you-can place, with the huge servings. It's not just a meat place, their desserts are not bad too! I remember the chocolate souffle that I had there. It was good!

Worth your time. (Only that the place could get really packed. A crowded place in a restaurant with limited space is not exactly an ideal place to dine for me. )

    113. Chapter 2

Located near a bus stop just beside Bugis Village, Chapter 2 is a hair salon very convenient to get to. Apart from that, it is a place with a rather different atmosphere. It does not look like a "designer place" but it gives people the feeling that it is a rather lively place.

Hairdressers at this salon are mainly people who are quite young, but this does not mean that they are inexperienced. The place seems to be quite popular and it is always quite packed. Then again, I'm not surprised, because the last 5 times or so that I've been there, I left with a very satisfied haircut. One of those times, the hairdresser attending to me actually suggested to make a small change to my hair which eventually gave a very different touch on the overall.

I would say this place is not a bad place to go to for a good haircut, especially for people who are very particular about leaving the salon with a presentable hairstyle.

    Fishball noodles !

Located at bedok south, opposite TJC , this place has got good fishball noodles! I never really liked fishballs before, but the fishballs here are delicious and is a must try! Plus the noodles of course. They've got soup and dry noodles, but I've never tried the soup ones before. But this shop is definitely good and I believe everyone agrees so too , since there's always an extremely long queue during lunch hours .

    Try it !

Located at the first level of Century Square near Tampines MRT, it's a shop that sells hair accessories, little purses, earrings and rings for girls. It has many varieties with many colours, suitable for matching with different sets of clothes. Besides, they are relatively cheap as compared to those at Orchard Road area.

Quite a good place to look for cute accessories to match with your clothes at an affordable price!

I do agree with the previous post that the food is delicious and relatively good price for its quality; however I wonder if they are under staff? It is quite crowded here especially during peak hours. You may have to wait for 15 to 30 min for a table. Service is not as good too probably due to the crowd. I did not get my warm water served until I repeated my request from 3 waitresses.

However, this place really has good food. I really like it. Unless you mind the slow service and long queue, this place would be a must try!

I won't say that this place has everything to offer. It has a huge bookstore, great for readers of all genres. There are also some art stores at the higher levels, with specific art materials to be found. There are the fast food centres and food outlets around the place; however, apart from these shops, the rest are more of high-end boutiques like Hugo Boss and Armani Xchange, or slightly cheaper (relative) alternatives like Zara. Perhaps if you're searching for cheaper things, NAC is not exactly the place to go. Perhaps neighbourhood shopping malls would be better.

This shop basically sells roadside snacks that, from the name, I assume are popular snacks in Taiwan. They have things like fried chicken, oyster mee sua and some other snacks. It's not bad and the price could be said to be just a little above average, if not just right. The only bad thing is that there are not many seats available at the various outlets other than the one at Cathey Cineplex and Cineleisure.

This shop can be found at various places such as Cathay Cineplex, Cineleisure, Far East Plaza and Hougang Mall (I think).

I don't know if anyone has ever seen this poster at the bus interchange that states that SBS is the only transport service company out of the many other taxi and bus companies that obtained a gold star award. Of the many hundreds of employees in SBS, one of them got the rare award - a Gold Star in service .

I don't know if people are impressed by this publicity, but I am not particularly impressed or anything. Instead, I'm not surprised why only one of them got an award, out of the many hundred potentials.

I was on one of the buses that left from Bedok Interchange one day. As I was seated at the front of the bus, naturally I'd want to alight from the nearest door - the front door. There was no one boarding the bus and I was the only one alighting. However, the bus driver refused to open the door for me. He did not even try to explain why I should exit from the back door but just showed a hand gesture indicating that the only way I can alight is through the back door.

Another time was when I was on the bus and I over heard a conversation between a foreigner and the bus driver. The passenger wanted to find out how to get a particular destination but wasn't able to express herself well in English. The bus driver did not understand her and went "Huh?" in an extremely loud and rude tone.

Perhaps it's the high expectations of us consumers, but I feel that it's not right for people working in this arena to behave in such a manner as it reflects more than just the individual themself.

If you're looking for a place to try vietnamese food, I highly recommend this shop at Caltex House. It is located near Raffles Place MRT Station, very convenient to go to.

The food comes in huge servings and taste almost similar to those that you can get in Vietnam, only that it is slightly tastier here to cater to the likings of Singaporeans. It is a must try!

However, as the shop is located at Raffles Place, it is very crowded during lunch hours and the shop unit is very small. The shop is only opened slightly before lunch hour, till around 4pm.
