I personally bought from Snowlights on 3 occasions. 1 of them was as a xmas gift to my friend (Fairy of the willow). The other 2 for my own, including one which is of a customised necklace.
The owner is very sweet and friendly, with her pieces very hot-selling! I personally had her to customise some pieces like changing of crystal colours and she agreed! That is of course depending on the availability of materials. She also gave me pouches for the necklaces, which is perfect as a gift!
Kudos to her service and handmade pieces! Definitely worth the price!
My favourite is my latest customised necklace! Will definitely buy from her again! :)
Have been to Bliss with my friends/colleagues pretty often since its near my workplace. Food is generally standard, with my favourite being the Seafood spaghetti in cream sauce. We normally would order the set which comes with either salad or soup, with a drink dessert.
It was until my last trip there, am i very disappointed with their service. I was not feeling well that day and suggested Bliss as i was craving for cream spaghetti. My friends agreed and we went on to our order. At first the waiter was kind of blur, it's obvious he is new. He took the note pad out but did not write anything onto it. Luckily he tried repeating our orders and we had to remind him who's taking what. We were confused when one takes out a notepad but don't take down the order and try to recall and it wasn't 100% successful...
Anyway we waited. The soup and drink finally came after 15mins, which was longer than usual. By then, we were all starving. My guy friend's order came after another 10mins with us chasing orders. Both mine and my gf's came after another 15 and 20mins later. We chased orders for like 4times at least. And had to endure that 35-40mins, with a cranky unwell me. The last sentence i shot the waiter was, have you caught my chicken and her beef? By then, 2 out of 3 are famished. The meatball spaghetti wasn't fantastic, even if you travel to Ikea and back, it wouldn't take as long. My chicken chunk cream spaghetti was ok only.
But on the contrary, their bill came within mins! I was so upset, i almost wanted to tell the manager off. No discounts, no nothing. Utter disappointment.
My last visit is definitely of below average rating, with my past experiences being average.
I went to several Cafe cartel outlets and this was once of my best experiences.
I was there with my friend the other night, with a craving for pasta. As there was promotion for Citibank card holders, we were more than happy, walked in and choose a sofa seat for ourselves.
Their menu have been changed, with a few additions here and there. In the end, we ordered a plate of spaghetti each, and shared a fried platter. Although we didnt order a set, we were still offered free flow of bread. My friend and I were impressed with their service and friendly staff, as we were a tad troublesome, asking for more sauce, warm water, take-away etc etc.
We left satisfied, and happy. We will definitely be back!
Have not dealt with them before, but have read quite a number of negative reviews regarding them. I wouldnt buy from them in the first place as i do order clothes through my friend, as we spree directly from the tw supplier, which is definitely cheaper. But like some people, who are not patient enough to wait, they might be more willing to pay more.
I am very sure that they imported goods from tw, china or hk websites, and sold them off at a higher price. We have experiences in ordering from various tw auction sites, and have no problems, except for maybe a few colour mix up.
My point is, even overseas website allow exchange and products are not suppose to be inferior. The measurements on shoplah! are not as detailed as those on the taiwan websites. Together with the negative feedbacks provided, i personally wouldnt buy from them, when they cant deliver what they promise, despite a supposingly "shorter" waiting time.

Was at Phuket last year end for a short holiday. Bought the Go Holiday DIY Package via air asia website which includes air tix hotel, about 600sgd for two for 4D3N. I think its pretty reasonable, with the The Royal Paradise Hotel being a 4star hotel i think, and it around the various shopping belts and patong beach.
People there are very friendly, food and entertainment are great and affordable! Booked a snorkelling trip and tickets to Phuket Fantasea one of their popular destination.
Snorkel was great since it was my first time, the views were great as we travelled via speed-boat to various islands such as Phi-phi island etc, buffet was included and several snorkelling opportunities. The fishes come right up to you and feed on the bread out of your hand! Sadly most of the corals died due to the tsunami in '04. But nevertheless, it is still a great experience, seeing the different colourful fishes in the clear blue waters. Beaches are white, waters are blue and have pretty scenaries both on land and in water..
Shopping is definitely cheaper than sg at some places, especially the night markets, as you can haggle the prices :)
At night, there are stalls set up, with plenty of food choices around. Even the Mac have various different choices and cheaper than sg! Walk around and you can see plenty of foreigners drinking, bar-top dancing etc.. Took a bus and then booked a cab to another city area to shop, which was yet another experience.
Had a full body massage on the last night, near my hotel and Enjoyed myself thoroughly! Would love to go back another time, and for a longer period.
