The service there is still as good as the last time i went at night. This time, i went in the afternoon. Initially, we reserved for 12pm slot. But a few of our friends came late that we only reach the place at 2pm. We were quite embarressed about it. But good thing, the staff did not show any sort of unhappiness in them.
Yes, I agree with Polarbear. I have been only to Minds Cafe twice. The latest trip was in fact just yesterday.
Indeed, this line of business have grown from strength to strength. It offers an alternative to pubs and clubs for youngsters who wishes to meet up to catch up with each other and have fun at the same time.
Minds Cafe opening hours are till in the wee hours. I stayed there last night till 3am! Had loads of fun with my friends playing the various boardgames. It is definitely not a kiddo place if anyone is thinking about it. A definite place to sit there, relax and have fun!
One need not afraid that you may not know how to play the games. There are various types of games, from strategy to brainless types of games for you to choose from. What's more, the staff there would take time out to explain to you the instructions of the game if you requested it.
Service from them is excellent. Btw, the outlet i went yesterday was at Princep Street, the one opposite Paradiz Centre. One of the senior staff saw me coughing after the excitement of the games... and offered my a nice warm water to soothe my throat, after which he has no complaints when my friends hope for each a glass of water. Superb!
And even when we left, he even remembered the game that he taught us to play and even ask for comments when we were about to leave. Observant! I would have no hesitation to head there back next time.
As mentioned, the business is growing fast. Thus reservation is very important to avoid any disappointment. Walk-in is highly non-recommendable.
I can agree with that too. Sometimes i find it strange why people chose to go to Tampines Mall GV rather then Century Square's Shaw. It seems that Shaw is a substitute most of the time if there are no space at Tampines Mall.
The seats in Century Square are great! Most importantly, it is arranged in a way that the front people would not block those at the back easily if they are tall, unless other cinemas because of the couches seats. Better for shorter people like me... haha!!
So unless there's no movies offered by Shaw at Century Square, so find some time to try to cinema out.
Polarbearsaid: Hmm.... but Shaw got no discount on their tickets using any credit cards. Too expensive alr. 30 Dec 2007 at 5:08 pm
