Yes, it's the same as PS B2, QQ rice. I happen to be working around that area, and i must say that QQ rice is one of my favorite choice.
Usually i will eat the purple rice and the wheat germ (i think it's this) rice mix. And the rice itself is fragrant and cooked just nice. You will have to choose the ingredients and that makes the whole thing quite fun.
I will at least choose 1 food that is a little more saltier. Like the Chicken floss or the preserved vegetable (sour vege). It's really nice and make the taste just nice. Other than that, the mushroom, and smoke ham is their all time favorite.
And don't forget to try their milk tea and pudding. For those who really like to eat healthy food, try their wu gu bu ding. It includes purple rice and barley. And it's nice. Not too sweet.
I suggest everyone to give it a try. And remember, don't judge the rice by it's size, it's really filling. Well, at least for me. Haha. A rice and pudding will make a perfect combination. Just nice for a lunch portion.
After reading about it on their website. I'm so tempted to try.
The one which is barbequed, is really nice. Soft and moist. and it's really really sweet. I also bought the fried. It was not as nice. I felt that there too much flour on the outside. Which gave it's crispyness. But felt like eating more flour than the sweet potatoes itself. :(
The service was good. I am sweet potato lover, and i ask the staff where are the potatoes from. She mentioned Taiwan and reason out that it's becos it is sweeter and more moist. Unlike potatoes from Singapore and Japan. Nice service.
the food was only average to me. 4 of us each picked 3 from the menu. which includes cajun chicken, fish and chips and the beef steak. we also ordered one more fries. everytime i think about it, it makes me felt full. the portion was very big. or should i say huge? the chicken wasn't marinated very well. it's quite tasteless to me. fish and chips are ok. and beef steak are ok.
we waited about 45 minutes. i think it might be becos of the amount of ppl there. there are a group of 20 students. and there is a queue to order. after ordering, you will still have to wait.
the staff are bubbly and cheerful.
i might not return back again. 1 time experience is enuff.
I went there when they just opened not long ago. They were at a corner beside the toilet, just nice to be blocked by the escalator.
So i was thinking the queue was quite short, i might give it a try. I waited 45 minutes for them, and after trying, I think the reason why so many people like it was due to the cheap price, variety, freshness and soft donuts that they served.
And of cos, you will have to eat them fresh, or else, u will have to heat them up again when you are going to eat it.
But i dun really think that they are worth queueing for. Just for the experience, maybe. . .
this is a usual place when i wanted some heavy supper.
they serve really nice nasi lemak, bee hoon and mee. their chicken wings are the must have. I also like their sweet and sour fish, and their ikan bilis. super nice. .
They also have fried drumbsticks. The really big ones, but i think the chicken wings are nicer.
The serving portion is just ok. But if you are hungry, maybe you can order some more side dishes. Their curry vegetable is also very nice.
Their place is easy to find. Just by the side of the road.
