MediaCorp Channel U has been putting much effort recently in roping all the latest and popular drama for TV junkies like me. For instance, thanks to Channel U, we have been able to catch popular drama The First Shop of Coffee Prince first in Asia, outside of Korea. Also, Taiwanese drama like the Romantic Princess which ended its run in Taiwan last Nov, are also coming to our TV screen soon in January.
Generally, I think the standard and quality of programmes being aired are pretty good. I find the informative talkshow hosted by Quan YiFeng and Dasmond Koh- Let's Shoot extremely entertaining and informative. Every week, there's a certain topic discussed on the show and various opinions were heard and discussed by the guests. Some of these topics are provocative and most of the time, they concerns people like us, from all walks of life.
To sum up, I think it's a blessing that we have an alternative Chinese channel to switch to as I find that the programmes on Channel 8 are not as good as compared to the past.
I visited this stall 2 months back while I was in the vicinity. I guess what amazes me when I saw the stall is that it has a flat screen TV montior right in front of its stall. Maybe I'm a bit swa gu, but I have not seen food stall in a typical hawker centre setting having such high tech instrument. :) Also, the TV was playing repeatedly, the pre-recorded advertisement where the stall was featured on Channel 8. I guess the owner is real good at using the media as a marketing tool. ;p
Anyway, my friends and I ordered the chocolate fondue set which comes along with assorted fruits like strawberry and kiwi, marshmellows, and their home-made waffle. I can't remember the exact price (it was something like $11.90 /-) but as there were 5 of us sharing the set, the amount of money paid individually is much lowered. Overall, the fondue set is good and yummy. The chocolate is real smooth and thick and not too sweet. The waffles are crispy and good too but in my opinion, the waffles are a tad on the sweet side.
So if you are having your meals in Golden Mile FC, do give it a try. It's definitely worth the money.
Yes, you CAN enjoy good food at a Low pricing. That's right, at Sumo House, the Japanese food served are real yummy and kind on your wallet. The chicken katsu set is an time favourite for many patrons and I give it 2 thumbs up!
I guess with the current inflation and price hikes everywhere in Singapore, this is a good place to makan when you want to enjoy good Japanese food at an affordable price.
Personally, I understand the importance of quality accessories with reasonable pricing. I also believe that all women should feel good about themselves, and that is why I launched my very own shop showcasing original one-of-a-kind handmade accessories which are bound to meet your every occassion.
