CHOCOCRO - is something you must try when you visit Saintmarc Cafe. Its popping up everywhere now, first store at Vivocity and now both marina square and raffles city. CHOCOCRO is their speciality. Its a flaky croissant filled with premium chocolate and cream. Crispy, tasty yet not too sweet dessert, perfect to end a meal with.

I love the way they display all the desserts via a glass showcase at the divider of the cafe. There you can find all the real size desserts drizzled with condiments and housed nicely in the attractive cups. We ordered a few some with azuki red bean and green tea ice cream on soft serve and some with coffee jelly. The mix of flavors is yummy and some of the condiments are rarely available elsewhere.

If you enjoy coffee or a hot beverage, they do have a good assortment of that. From regular coffee to hot chocolate and for those who want something cold, theres Yuzu soda which is yuzu jam mixed with soda and apparently its pretty delicious.

There is no loud welcome as if you entered a jap restaurant and I must say, this is a pretty classy cafe with thickly cushioned couches and wooden varnished tables and chairs. Good for groups but finding a seat is not easy especially on weekends. The place is pretty clean however they do have self serve tray handling so when you finish don't forget to shelve your used tray.

Was craving for some BBQ meat before we stumbled upon this Korean BBQ Buffet outlet at Bras Besah Complex. It was nicely hidden at the corner atop the Jack's place and we only waited 10 mins before we got our seats due to the place being a little more crowded during weekend dinner time, we really should remember to make a reservation the next time round we are visiting.

It feels kinda a no frills place with the cashier counter placed right next to the door while i think the korean looking cashier is the boss. Decked in a cute looking old school thin floral dull looking shirt, no smiles just very friendly and heart warming gesturing us to our seat and made sure we were comfortably settled in, he even helped place my bag on a chair.. i was touched... The place is large with tables nicely spaced out. Everything is take it yourself and clearing of tables is pretty fast. Though its airconditioned, it does get a little smoky when patrons burn their food, otherwise it is very pleasant.

Selection of dishes are plentiful. You have all sorts of meat, pork, beef, chicken, you name it... Side dishes and salads are plentiful though not super delicious.... You have about 7 types of soft drinks and tea to choose from, korean wine is available with an additional cost. The belly is extremely extremely yummy and the thin sliced beef was just superb!!! We hammered loads of beef and some seafood such as prawns and squid, stuffed ourselves crazy while washing it down with some rice wine. It was extremely enjoyable, especially with groups of friends. Priced at $24 was very reasonable.

While we proceeded for payment, the cashier actually sprayed some fabreeze on my shirt.. i thought that was thoughtful... :)

Really enjoyed the dinner... it was very much no frills, food was good, table was clean and spread was pretty enjoyable. Plus... owner has got cute gestures...

I was impressed by the prints and the quality of materials Grazie Online provides. Humbly manning a simple booth at the most obscure flea market I've ever been to, I was surprised by what I found. Perfect presents for my about to give birth good friend.

I think flora prints and animal motifs are best for babies, they always look so cute near to nature, especially when they are dressed in white with baby colours. I must say, the material used to make these baby fashionables are very soft, smooth yet somewhat stretchy as they do grow vastly quickly.

The other thing i love are the bibs. Coloured so bright with huge cute looking animals is something toddlers need to wear on all day. No matter if they are drooling or having their lunch, this bibs are the must have accessories. I understood from Grace that the some of the items are painstakingly handmade to perfection and it made me appreciate them even more.

Priced reasonably with many pretty designs to choose from. Love it when its uniquely unconventional as such you won't get confused with other toddlers. I mean sometimes babies do look quite the same.

I was surprised the good old food court at Clifford Center had became such a chic place. The Food Emporium, another project by the NTUC Food Fare, bringing us quality and affordable food with special discounts when you are a NTUC member.

Its renovated very beautifully with a clean feel to it. Nothing fanciful, just full of natural vegetation (artificial flowers and table top ferns), straight white wooden laminates and bright white light. I must say, a pretty nice place to dine in and it feels clean and comfortable.

I was just browsing the selection, mostly local food with malay rice and northern indian food being the most interesting. While prices are higher than the surburbs hawkers, its pretty affordable as per city standards. They also do serve a good variety of chinese food such as the regular local fairs of noodles, rice and soup.

The drink counters carries a good variety of hot and cold beverages and priced reasonably. Love also the small bakery near the entrance. Its bakes filled the air with fresh pastry, buttery and savoury... I must say its a very comfortable place to dine in or have short meetings. Ambiance is great and seats are reasonably comfy with the very cool air-conditioning, its the perfect hang out for a hot afternoon.

I envy those who work around there and have flexy working hours.

Had always wanted to pop into this bakery and finally I did. The name gave the impression that it was one of our heritage recipes, however the bake items were pretty new age and more ang mor (western recipes) with chocolate croissants, parfaits, tuna foccacia sandwiches and even the coffee they serve is the espresso, cappuccino kind.

This outlet is a little bit in the middle of no where, noise level was high however area kept cool by air-conditioning and ambience casual with a large round fountain by the side. Ceiling is kinda a hole from level 1 which made sound control slightly better.

Service was almost non-existence except the clearing of plates and at the point of purchase. So we went in, grab a seat we like then proceeded to the counter to order our best liked breads and drinks, make payment then go back to our seats. The bakery selection was good and very colourful however we took long to decide because we just felt like trying e everything, however drink selections were miserably few with mostly coffee based drinks.

While back at our seat, we noticed a service counter which is where you get your free flow of sky juice (iced water), cutleries and serviettes. Love how the water was held in bottles made it felt safe for us to drink.

The entire experience was good and food was merely better than average however price is rather high i must say. I was expecting something authentically old and memorably singaporean or tiong bahru and i found none... So much for a misunderstanding :) My friends did enjoy the casualness of the place and the comfy seats, so its more like a meeting point and not so much for the great food.
