This Mcdonalds is a pretty big outlet and I am impressed how they make space, though the inside is already big enough, yet more seats are available outside of the outlet (alfresco) and also outside the shop but inside the mall, along the walkways / corridors near to the escalators to basements.

These seats along the corridors are very private yet open... You get these holes like dig-outs for you to hide in, ample space and great to laze with a book or gossip session with your friends. Its somewhat out of the restaurant, but the tables are always kept clean somehow by the super efficient and reliable staffs.

Food is pretty standard yet this outlet is the life saver of many of us who parties late yet do not want an expensive supper. Mcdonalds is like home cooked food for us late night owls! Check out also the new flavored burgers.. this time round the samurai burger brings back many nostalgic good memories... I'm Loving It!

This outlet at West Coast Plaza has been sort of a saviour to me in many occasions, especially when your air-con malfunction on a very warm day, this is the place where you can get almost all types of electric appliance and their parts that is if you can do the repair yourself.

The shop, though small carries a large range of electronics, electrical parts, hardware and interesting things such as innovative collapsible water containers and everything you might find useful in your home, outdoors or when you travel. Items are packed neatly on shelves, not really in the chronological order yet, like every hardware store, the friendly staff can show you where is what so fast, you didn't even have time to Blink your eyes. The varieties of the brands for similar products are not many, yet its enough to get yourself something reliable and a good deal.

Price is reasonable and items come well packed for hand-carry. Pretty enjoy shopping here, though its a quick buy and go kinda thing... yet it saves the day for many of us that stays nearby. Sometimes, just a multiplug to power that new entertainment device we purchased could cause us a hair-pulling dilemma of which other devices to sacrifice.

When you think about bangkok, you cannot but associate that with traffic jams and of course savoury spicy and superlicious food. Here at bangkok jam, you get that all, the yummy food and of course the Jam as well.

The deco is beautiful and full of the modern thai look. While we queue up for our table, we cannot but oogle at the dishes that were being served on the other table. Shortly while we are being served our table, we quickly examined the menu and placed our orders. Everything looks yummy and super spicy in the menu, we have got many to choose from, yet its so difficult to get the attention of the staff. Its really busy and they looked under-handed.

So we ordered a couple of dishes and they came pretty quickly. The dishes were well made, ingredient fresh and presentation colourful and attractive. It was a pretty good experience and I'm sure to return with my friends.

          119. MAAD

MAAD is a one of a kind event happening every month. It interestingly attracts all the artistic individuals with music, art, sellable art decoratives, accessories, clothings and things that are out of the world gorgeous and unique pieces mostly handmade.

Held at the the red dot museum starting in the evening on a faithful friday night is the ideal time and location for us to hang on a weekend evening and you can play till night. Parking is pretty to find, we arrived at about 9pm and the crowd looked promising. Music exudes from the dimly lit back door of the red dot museum and as we entered, we realised the music didn't come from the restaurants or bars but the main halls. As we venture deeper, the crowd became thicker and what greeted us was amazingly many stores displaying everyday stationary, accessories, clothings created by our local artist and some pretty eclectic taste.

As we ventured down the first hallway, the music of a lady singing in modern jazz became louder and what greeted us was a full scaled band with her audiences seated quietly on the floor enjoying her music... Treading down the crowded hallway, more stalls and I've got myself some pretty amazing accessories as well as a watch that is almost an antique. I noticed a group of 4 personals sitting on a high chair at the very end of the hallway and plenty of others sitting on a lower chair busy scribbling away. On nearer investigation, we realised they were doing a live sketch, some with pencil, some with charcoal and some using crayons... It doesn't matter what you use, its a volunteered event and anybody with a flair for sketching could just pick a chair and start drawing... Love the idea.

The entire event was fun and educational. I hope this event will never come to an end. Its a great platform for our youths these days especially for the artistic environment. Great event.

            120. Ho Kee Pau

This outlet supposedly serves the best dim sum in town as I was told but I was surprised the selections are few and not interesting. However the Pau tasted really yummy.

I had a Large Pork Bun, one Veg Bun and Tao Sar Bun. They tasted yummy, filling fresh and they gave ample amount, ingredients used fresh and taste balanced. Skin is not so thick yet enough for skin lovers like me.

There are also other dishes available like noodles, fried carrot cake and soya bean drink to go along with the pau. So the few things I really love here:

            1) Veg Pau - is filled with radish fried with dried shrimp I think, tasted light, juicy, refreshing and very pleasant. Beware thats it not too small and quite filling.

            2) Fried Spring Roll - If you take away, you could buy each at $1.20 or else dining there you will have to order 3 in a plate. Its short but fat, yet full of ingredients, crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. Really yummy.

            3) Fried Carrot cake is surprisingly yummy. Crispy and soft

            4) Chee Cheong Fun with sauteed mushrooms is the best creation I ever tasted. the mushroom well seasoned, fried and made the chee cheong fun yummy.. this is a must try.

Dinner for 2 with plenty of stuffs for about $20. I must say not exactly cheap. Location is not too bad by the roadside, non aircon, handicap friendly coz by the roadside... Don't expect service coz you get none and sometimes loud disregards from the china lady. Feel prepared when you are there to be ignored. Its all about the money really.
