Love this bar.. its really hard to find a nice and decent air-conditioned drinking place in the buzzing industrial area of changi city point. Love the high class ambiance and the crowd especially nearing weekends. Love the $5 menu which gives your one serving of Asahi Draught, Red & White Wines, Sake, Shochu, Choya and, all house pour spirits. And bottled beers are going for $35 for a bucket of 5.
The place is cheery while the chatters of diners drowns the background music, if any, I do not hear them. I love the Asahi draught, icy cold with a good mix of air and easy to down. Love the KUSHIYAKI (aka satay sticks with meat or veg), we usually order a good mix of seafood, meat and veg, grilled till perfection, locking its sweet sweet juice within. Of course with the girls, salad is a must and some light bites such as the tofu nuggets and fried chicken.
Its a great place to hang out, though i find it a little squeezy on some nights and the chairs not so comfy for long sitting, however its a nice place to hang out after work. They are also open for lunch but I've never lunched there before.
I was always thought factory outlets makes no difference from regular outlets, just that the term factory made it sound like you will find a good bargain and while I browse at this factory outlet, I kinda felt the same.
The stuffs are not the latest for sure and yes there are a few bargains here and there however, the prices are not so competitive, on top of that the merchandises are fewer then some of the bigger shops as compared. The sneakers and shoes are supposed to be much cheaper and all I found is approximately a max of 30% - 40% for some uglier designs.
I emerged buying nothing though browsing is quite a breeze and there are many changing rooms to use. Service is pretty good and staffs are helpful and quick handed...

I enjoy shopping at this NTUC FINEST because the variety of goods they carry are more interesting and rare as compared to the other NTUC outlets. Rather than just the conventional stuffs like diary products, fresh fruits and seafood, they also do carry a good range of live plants, huge racks and racks of organic produces. Even the range of vegetables are more in variety like the rarely found Artichoke, you can find them here...
Its not exactly a very large outlet however it has all the stuffs are more for you to choose from. During christmas season, I found a large bone in ham in one of its shelves and stuffs like NEW ZEALAND Milk powders and packet milk for adults makes me excited. Though I would prefer a larger snacks and biscuits department yet the current ones carry stuffs I seldom see in other supermarkets here. Like special limited edition Oreos Or imported potato chips of some brands I cannot even pronounce.
The wine section is quite a disappointment to me as the range they carry is not as complete and nice like cold-storage. Though they have a chiller room which made alot of teenagers really excited.. One pair of teen girls accompanied by their mom kept going in and out of the chiller and seemed to be really enjoying it.
The oils and vinaigrette shelve gave me a shock... I never seen any NTUC dedicating such a large area for these seasoning and condiments. The brands and types are really plentiful... I love also the self check out counters where you check out all your goods by yourself. Its fun, very innovative and techy and makes shopping really quick and enjoyable... If you happen to be around... you must really try to use the self check out.

Shopping at the Clementi Mall the last weekend and had a nice surprise from Tanglin Secondary School's symphonic band. They are performing at the atrium facing the entrance from the MRT Station and the resounding music travelled to the entire mall with many passerby stopping by to listen to the happy tunes.
2 tunes called mine attention. One is the FIREWORKS by Katy Perry and another is My Flower by Wu Bai. I never knew these hip, rocking and modern songs could sound so good performed with a symphonic band and it really did make my day. Its a wonderfully arranged performance and the band is very tight.
The mall is not exactly big yet it housed a good variety of restaurants and a NTUC FINEST at the basement. However the escalators do get a little confusing and the lifts hard to find. I find it funny especially with the small entrance door near to bread talk and the lift that leads to the outdoor shopping area. Its always packed, this way and its a small landing however it seemed as though its too busy and crowded because of the lift, the entrance, the escalators up and down.
The corridor to the toilets are a maze.. Even though i've been there a couple of times, yet I still always walk the wrong way out... The signs are not helpful and its confusing.. I also do notice many people turning left instead of right into the dead end before heading towards the opposite side of the maze.
The mall is in pretty good shape, still pretty new and presentable however the toilets are already not in such good shape. Quite a number of cubicles out of order and it does not exactly smell so good and is not so clean inside the cubicles. Other than that its a pretty nice mall if you happen to pop by.

My other hang out in the west will be at West Coast Plaza. Formerly a run down heartland shopping mall Ginza Plaza has put on a new look with shiny flooring and green wall at the carpark, this new makeover indeed perked up the entire mall. Of course the new stuffs also included a face lift on the entire mall with many escalators leading to everywhere and I must say pretty nice looking and well equipped toilets.
I love the many restaurants and beauty parlours here in West Coast Plaza. It kinda provided the hip restaurant setting for the boring west side neighbourhood, love the japanese influence on the merchandises and the very fresh sushi and sashimi. Feeling tired? Why not get yourself a massage or foot reflexology, or perhaps thrive in a new hairstyle and get your nails done at the same time.
Feeling sporty? why not drop by the NIKE factory outlet, if not you could browse the merchandises at the Cold Storage, there is for sure something to buy at the supermarket.
Love the space, the ample parking and the many escalators that made the whole place so convenient and comfortable to shop and laze. Its usually not very crowded and I love to hang out at Starbucks for a cuppa something and a book on weekends...
