Love this cinema as I feel that its the nearest to all the food and entertainment situated right smack at the heart of orchard road. Though I find the seats a little squeeky and the walkways a little too old for my liking, it sure brings back lots of great memories. I practically grow up there....

Their regular theatres I should say is bigger then most of the newly renovated cinemas and its is one of the very few cinemas that allows you to exit at the entrance which i totally love. I hate the fact that we have to tread through the unkempt, stinky, badly ventilated and ill noticed escape staircase after our movies... Can you imagine.. you walk in on red carpet with the cool air conditioning and after the theatre delivered their service ( which you have paid for) You just have to ESCAPE through their REAR.... Its just seemed to be so not right...

Love also the fact that there are many small restaurants and fast food joints around the cinema area for a quick bite before the movie. Love their popcorn as well... I think SHAW's popcorns tasted great and pretty value... Soooo Love the jap supermarket at the ground floor.... I love to buy some jap snacks to discreetly eat while watching the movie... NOTE: don't buy the crunchy or noisy ones...

Booked my friend into Hotel Intercontinental the last time the family visited and while we love rave so much about the beautiful building, excellent lounge, bar and restaurants they have and the excellent shopping location, the service was below our expectation.

We love the location as it is near to shopping malls and it is near to some landmarks which makes walking around easy and nice. Love the food street (Liang Seah Street) and Bugis Night Market in which is a great plus for the visitors staying here. The adjoining shopping mall and MRT Train station makes it convenient to travel around and the lounge serve up a great mix of cocktail and beverages coupled by a good taste in live music.

We have booked and paid for the rooms in advance.. The arrangement is as such due to administrative reasons and one of the rooms are suppose to have an extra bed which we have booked and paid for in advance, however after we checked in, the extra bed is nowhere to be found, upon calling the housekeeping, we were asked to wait. All the way until evening 8pm, while we return after dinner the extra bed was not yet been put into the room. We then called the housekeeping again and the reply was that the hotel is fully booked and they have no more extra beds. After a long tele-conversation with their manager on how we had booked and paid in advance then at 11.30pm, they attempted to deliver the extra bed in which the family staying in the room had already slept.

Though the extra bed had been delivered finally after much hassle... Our visitors are greatly dismayed and vacation disrupted and we who arranged the stay embarrassed. No rectification action was being done by the hotel, as such it is not our hotel of choice for our other guest in future though the location is simply great. I like the place, the location, the nostalgia building, deco, lounge and bar as well as the friendly staff at the door however I really cannot risk anymore embarrassment especially with overseas visitors or customers.

Have you been to Pan Pacific lately? I simply loved the new design of the lobby and the lounge. Beautiful, Futuristic, Relaxing and Functional. Love the huge long bar and the spacious couches at the lounge area. I'm totally blown away as this hotel is one that I seldom visit though i'm always nearby.

The lobby area has also became an open concept breakfast area which I think also serve cakes and pastry, some mean tea and coffee for daily snacks. As we were there passing by to go to one of the very happening club situated just next to the entrance at the hotel, we cannot but be awed by these beautiful lighting feature that looks like an open topped straw hat glittering with redish led lightings like star studed gazebos. Love the colour the concept and the funness involved.

The couch area is also interesting with the SINK-IN Couches (Aka seating area is a step lower then the normal walking area). Its like a little hideout and in this way, with short skirts, the part where it rides up is rather out of the line of vision. The long bar served up a good variety of Cocktails, Regular spirits and beer on the tap. Also look out for the interesting snacks and bar food... Love the ambiance and background music (bossa nova).

Service is great, staff attentive and helpful though its such a big place, we don't feel forgotten at all while we catch a short thirst quenchers here. Prices though is a little on the high but the ambiance made up for it. The restrooms is fabulous too. Clean and sleek, cladded with stone cold tiles with sound proof cubicles and great smelling handsoaps and moisturizers.

Great place to hang and getting home is easy as there is ample taxis waiting outside the hotel.

Have you ever booked a flight, coach, hotel or cruise ticket from MISA? Yes it a breeze... and I so love the search and comparison table which is easy to surf and find whatever I needed.

If you feel like calling them or popping up at their shop, you may do so, however, I feel better booking my stuffs off their online site... The flight tickets they offer is pretty much to everywhere and they even carry some airlines that I cannot imagine existed.

Love also their categories of the pre-arranged trips, they do have full board all the way to free and easy or plan your own trips. Though I believe they are not the cheapest, I did try to book at different occasions CATHAY flights to HongKong and they seemed to have better prices then for me to book on the CATHAY online sales site itself.

Theres this time where I needed to postpone my ticket, I couldn't find help onsite and decided to call them.. The operator lady was nice and helpful however.. I would still need to pay and a fee i deemed higher then I would have expected. Other then that... the bookings is fine. Electronic ticketing is offered as such no need to collect your tickets.

I will use their site and their search engines to serve as research for my trips before I book and information is great. Great Job on the online site I must say. :)

Usually almost always cannot find a seat in this outlet. Its that jam packed even on weekdays... The last time when I finally got a seat, I had to butt-ram some sissy man out of the way before I got myself a corridor-outdoor seat for 2 where we steal a chair and expanded one more seat to house our group of 3.

They serve the regular coffee in all forms.... espresso, latte, ice blended, frapuccino, teas, snapple and beverages of all kinds in various blands and roast. smelling the intoxicating brew in the air, one cannot but want to succumb to the need of a hot cuppa something laced with caffeine to perk up the lazy afternoon. My company succumbed to a vanilla latte and a white chocolate mocha, however I am the only one who stood up to face my temptations and conquered it.. I had a Green Tea Frappucino with the oh so rich.. creme..... Yumm.....

It was yummy.... though a tad too sweet for my liking, the green tea frappucino is rich in flavor and aroma, I would prefer it to be less sweet as i find green tea should carry a teeny weeny bit of tea leave bitter taste.. My companions love their coffees and looked really perked up while i continue with my sleepy discussion with heavy lids....

Love the cookies and muffins they serve... Goes really well with the beverages and service is prompt though it looks almost always very crowded. Ambience is the regular easy going cafe environment. The locations is marginally clean as empty used beverage containers are not cleared fast enough. Price is on the slightly high side as compared to the other coffee chains....
