Came with my family to Kallang Leisure Park on a weekend and decided to try out Huang Jia Restaurant on recommendation from a friend. The ambience was very nice and elegant. The restaurant was quite full. Service was good but the food really stood out. I highly recommend the Lobster Claypot and Crispy Roast Chicken. The Lobster Claypot was very good with its black pepper and slightly herbal taste. The herbal taste was not overpowering yet once the claypot was opened by the waiter the smell was wonderful. The Crispy Roast Chicken was really really good, one of the best I have ever tried. The skin was super crispy and shiny while the rest of the meat was smooth and not too oily. The whole family had a great time. I highly recommend the food and will definately come back with family and friends. All in all we spend about $100 for 4pax which was great value. [Read more] |
