Fatty Weng famous delicious soon hock recipe just didn't taste the same here in da dong compared to the old restaurant at Guillemard. The once upon a time famous, mouth watering dishes at the old Fatty Weng, Badminton hall at Guillemard road seem to be a thing of the past. Da dong famous well known signature dishes also cannot be compared to the old shop when the old chef 'ah fei' was still around. Lost recipe... totally different taste now. Perhaps merging the 2 restaurants makes all the famous memorable mouth watering dishes taste just different. The expensive bill, the lost recipe, especially for me who is looking for the old taste, really make me stay away. [Read more] |
