We went for breakfast here and the breakfast sets are good and affordable. You can chose a different combination, depending on what you like.
The coffee served is also good and it perks my day!
The toast made were so cripsy and till now I cannot forget the taste.
Their service was ok and I do not feel that they had treated me differently compared to the Eurasian. The only that happened was that our choice of eggs were mixed up and ended up in each other's place. But it was a small incident to us.
A place where it serves sausages, paella and rosti, something different which no other restaurant in Jurong Point is also offering.
I had tried 2 different kind of pasta dishes, the fish & chips, paella, sausages and rosti and they are all pretty decent to me. The rosti is fine and cripsy and I felt that it tasted so much better than what I had in Marche before.
So far for the 3 times we had visited them, the food were still up to our standard. Hopefully the standard will remain. I will definitely be back for more meals!
Had been to the Fish & Co. @ IMM branch for a few times. It's a quiet and nice enviroment to dine there. The service staff are also attentive to our needs, which is especially important to us who are with a 2.5 year old kid.
We ordered the Kid's size Fried Calamari with Fries, Grilled fish with spanish rice and the Prawn salad.
I love the portion of the kid's size Fried Calamari because it's just a good size for all of us. We don't end up eating lots of fried stuff and yet still get to see the twinkle in my daughter's eyes when she was holding the fries.
The grilled fish is soft and delicious! And we love the spanish rice too!
However, I was a little disappointed with the prawn salad because the prawns were not too fresh. Overall the salad is nice, as the salad sauce is quite refreshing and tasty.
They will put a plate of edamame on your table the moment you sat down. Do take note that's not complimentary. We are not fans of edamame so we told the waitress that we do not want it.
I love the fried white bait here. However the serving was much lesser than the time I had around 1 year ago. The white bait is so sweet and soft and I just can't stop eating it. It still the best I have tasted and still have not find other restaurants that can do better than Akashi.
We also tried the cold cucumber with miso paste and the cucumber is very fresh and crunchy! Super good for a appetiser.
I order the udon set and the udon is cooked just nice. We also order the saba set and the saba is nicely done.
We were out to ION Orchard during the first few weekends where it was first opened. Really crowded at the Basements but it was quite empty when it comes to ground floor and above. And we found ourselves in Canton-i for dinner, which is at the corner of the 3rd floor in the shopping mall.
We ordered a couple of dishes, which includes their signature roast pork and cha swee. Both taste very good! The cha swee are very soft and juicy and the taste is just right. The roast pork is also of the right texture.
The shrimp dumplings are generous with shrimps but I personally do feel that the soup taste like it contains alot of MSG.
We had also ordered the beansprout but it was a disappointment to us. Nothing worth talking about.
But the biggest disappointment was the fried white bait. It tasted like as if the frying oil was not changed for some time already and so it spoilt the whole taste of the white bait. -.-
We also ordered the mince pork with steam egg, and I must say that it’s very good! The pork is very tasty and steam egg is soft.
Overall we will still go back to this restaurant again but we will just order the cha swee, roast pork and probally will try out their roast chicken/duck the next time round
