I was a fan of Popeye's chicken, but I'm no longer one. I was lured to their outlets at Changi Airport by the taste of their chicken , which is fabulicious. Not only do you have to contend with long queues, and yes, the staff is slow and they are not very friendly. I have been there 4 times, both eating in and taking out and I must say that half the time, my order was not complete! Last time I was there, April 16th, I placed a takeaway order of a 3 piece chicken meal. Angry, I called up the outlet. Not sure which outlet you went. T3 had another outlet. I would prefer T3 as they have a bigger area.
