    6. Singapore Airlines
       17 Aug 2008 at 2:27 am
I had my experience once during my flight from SG to shanghai. That flight was full and the food serve portion indeed was quite small for a big eater for me. My colleague ask the air stewardess for additional portion if there's possible and the air stewardess jokingly mentioned that add rice need to pay extra 50 cents. Even though at the end, I didn't take their offer for the extra meals, but that air stewardess did tried to ask me if I am enough with the food whenever she passby my row.
And she was one of the senior staff (judging from her uniform).
I would says that their service does varies, not all are good but yet not all are bad.
Anyway I would say that they are at least better than other European/US airline cabin crew.

This is a good place for those ppl who have nothing to do during the late night (i mean real late night as in 3am!). They have movies showing 24 hours.
If you hold a UOB Credit card, you just need to pay $8 per tic for weekend movie. Agree with what $money$ mentioned that the ticket & popcorn counter are quite crowded.
The seat in the cinema are quite comfy and spacious. Maybe all the new cinemas had improve this. But if you want couple seats, where those arm rest allowed to be raise up, they are only available on the last few rows.
Overall is suitable for those staying in extreme east side of SG.

      8. The Clinic
         17 Aug 2008 at 1:16 am
Just visited to Clinic again recently with my Turkish colleague, and somehow they like that place alot.
Their waitress are dress up as nurses as well. They even serve their drinks in syringes.
But i think for drinks in syringes are quite costly compare to if you are buying it from the bar. Cause there are nurses sit on your lap serving you those drinks. Hahaha...
But difficulties in finding seat are always a problem if you need some seats after long night of standing. Their upstairs always close for VIP. Which till now I never had a chance to visit that area even though I've been there three times.

Since I the place I am living is only walking distance to Downtown east Ehub, New York New York no doubt is a regular dining place for me and my hubby.
My hubby loves their Premier Steak ($24.90). It might be abit ex compare to the steak in Swensson, but somehow it's worthy.
Somehow they manage to grill the steak in a special way where you can feel the crunchy-ness on the skin layer, but yet juicy and tender inside.
And their Rosselie Spring Chicken (whole @ $15.90 or half @ $11.90) worth for the value if non-big eater ladies are dining together. But if NYNY will offer more sauce for this dish, then it will be better.
Mushroom with roasted vegetables ($8.90) is nice too as if gave me different texture to my flavour cause you manage to eat some cooked vege like aubergine and courgette with those raw lettuce. Not to forgget about their garlic vinegette sauce are my all time favourite!
Thumbs up for their service as well despite of crowd during the weekend peak hour!

I just gave them a 2nd visit yesterday in PS outlet, and yet another dissapointment for their poor service. Especially those serving staff. Realise there are 3 different type of staff in their restaurant where differentiate by their colour, red collar are the staff suppose to serve on table, yellow collar staff seems like the staff to lead us to our table at the outside console and the blue collar staff seems that they are more senior. (p/s:Correct me if I am wrong!)
And only those blue collar staff are more energetic and efficient when come to serving us. There are this young lady (red collar) are super ignorant when we wave our hand towards her for service, and she pretend that she didn't anyone of us.
And we spotted that she was using the ear phone to chat with another colleague. And she bang the chair quite hard when she push those chair towards the table when she's doing the cleaning.
However, my friend ordered their Caesar salad which cost about $8.90, but happen to be another dissapointed as only few piece of lettuce and few "cloves" of hard boil egg. The salad seems abit dry too..
Well, I don't think they deserve for my 3rd visit!
