Food Republic is one place I often avoid. The food is very expensive despite its wide variety. And the place is always packed with curious customers. It's always difficult to find a seat and when you are eating, people keep watching you finish your food and not mentioning people walking around brushing against you when they look for seats. We are all sick of eating set meals. Thus my dad bought ala carte food from the curry rice stall instead of the stipulated set consisting of meat, vege & egg. He ordered one vege side and a fish on a plate of white rice topped with curry gravy. He was charged $7.50. The receipt read: Vegetable x1 $1.00 Dad explained that he pointed to the chef in white cap an order of vege and an order of fish.
