I have not watched local shows for a while. Except for those food junkie shows, I have literally watched only documentaries, variety shows, drama serials from the US and Hongkong (on DVDs and cable). The quality of local shows is getting worse. Used to love Channel U but since it merged with Mediacorp, have not been catching any shows of it. Our acting skills are still so exaggerated when to those of Hongkong/USA. Perhaps it is better to pick new stars from drama classes rather than talent search shows.
I booked my flights to London last November and well it went well. The prices for Royal Brunei Airlines were in fact cheaper than those quoted by Pricebreaker and other agencies. Have always sued their website to check out the latest prices of tickets and packages as their pricing is rather reasonable.
I love Daiso. Especially the IMM store. It has a wide range of goods and man, when I'm there I can spend an hour plus shopping for stuff, which I need and might not need (haha!). Love the fact they sell winter caps and scarfs, pets' accessories, Japanese food products and etc.
The service there was so-so. The range of goods found there is almost the same as other stores. Nothing special there. The range of clothes for young working adults are acceptable. Overall the prices of goods there are reasonable.
The entrance tickets are a rip-off. The rides are mainly kiddy in nature or too carnival-like. It's like they have not upgraded their rides in a while. Would prefer to wait for Resorts World to open instead!
