A frequent customer of their take-away kiosk. However, on many occasions experienced low quality of fried chicken (too hard) and once awful cole straw (the salad sauce was spoilt; had a foul smell) from them before. Even ended up having diarrhea because of the cole straw. No french fries are sold there so kind of a - point. Crew members are generally polite and friendly though.
SPCA should make it easier for individuals to adopt animals from them. I wanted to adopt 2 rabbits from them but was told that my entire family and all my pets have to go down as well. :( My parents work shifts and weekends and I had 2 turtles. I was pretty fed up with their request. In the end, I bought my rabbits from pet shops instead. Not everyone is so free to go down to the centre as a family. Even though I am an adult, I still have to drag my parents along...which is ridiculous.
The service quality of SBS buses here is considered good compared to those of other countries. Some buses are not kept very clean though. Still experienced the once-in-a-while sighting of a cockroach or insect inside the bus. Some buses like 105 and 133 are not punctual and very often two buses come alongside. I can spend up to 30 mins to wait for a bus in peak hours!!! The population here is increasing but the number of double-decked buses are not. They should phase out the single deck buses. Buses going to the airport should be provided with luggage storage areas too. I once took a bus home from the airport and I had to stand as I had no place at all for my luggage. :(
My dad is a Comfort cab driver but I seldom take cabs (unless he is giving me free rides). He has to pay over 900 dollars a week in cab rental so I guess that explains why the taxi fares are getting more expensive. I only take cabs when I need to go to the vet with my pets, to the airport, or out on a shopping spree. Most of the time the cab drivers are friendly and helpful. They will help with the lifting of the luggage or heavy stuff into the boot. Though some Comfort drivers like to take a longer route to earn extra income. The Comfort booking hotline is automated and I love it. It saves me trouble from booking a cab whenever I need it. I have no problem hailing a cab even though I am carrying a pet carrier.
Overall, the cab drivers with Comfort are okay. I have met cab drivers in KL who are simply horrible, rude and greedy.
I find the newly-revamped SMRT buses a bit "sterile" for my liking. The seats are not comfy and I always get a mild backache if it is for long bus journeys. Some of their bus drivers are rude and reckless and sometimes when I am standing, I would lose my balance as those drivers love to step on the brakes w/o warning. They also love to speed.
