Alot of restaurant was long queue, we decide to eat at Xiao Xuan Feng.
We were showned to our seats on the walkway, just at where the queue was forming outside the Japanese restaurant next to it, abit too cramped here. All the restaurant was side by side and some even have seats along the walkway.
We ordered their Ma Po Tofu, Brocolli w Shrimp, Shanghai Red Bean Pancake and Chrysanthemum tea.
Their food is good and reasonable portion. The pancake thou it's abit too small in size was good. The chrysanthemum tea is refillable and not so sweet.
The bill comes up to $30plus. A very satisfying meal minus the stares from the queue if you are seated outside at the walkway.
My girlfriend brought me to this corner of Placific Plaza and the waitress shown us up the 2nd level.
I was impressed with the classic and expensive environment. It's very clean and quiet surrounding. I especially like the crystal lights and the containers which they keep the tealeaves. (Sorry can't take pictures, so be there to see for yourself)
My girlfriend ordered their Full Set lunch with pastries and tea, I ordered just their Tea pastries and tea and macarons.
The main course was dory fish but wasn't too fantastic but to think this is actually a tea place. The pastries and even the tea jelly and light cream was good. Honestly, I loves the tea and atmosphere most :)
The bill comes up to be $60plus, it's rather expensive for lunch but once in a blue moon to be soaked in such beautiful and classic environment enjoying tea, is an enjoyment..
After our dinner, we went to swensen's for dessert.
Very fast, we were shown to our seats and our orders taken.
This cafe is very big and open, clean environment. Probably it is a Thursday, not too crowded, I realised they have more staff then weekends.
Soon, our favourite, Malted Chocolate and Topless 5 was served, together w a jar of icy cold water.
This is my 1st time to get water served in a jar, normally they will be served in just cups. I wondered is this the way they served water in all outlets or only in T2.
When our jar's emptied, the waiter came over and asked if we want refill. I was impressed, I have never get such attention in Swensen's before, I swear. :p
Again, probably it's a weekday not so crowded. Might go on weekends to see if same service is provided. :)
This is the only fashion store in the Punngol Plaza. The owner Yvonne is a very nice lady, now she have an assistant station here as she opened another outlet in Thomson Plaza.
Most of their pieces comes from Hongkong and some from Korea. Though it's in neighbourhood area, they have very nice pieces of pants and tops and nice shoes for young to mature ladies. And bags also.
They have a corner of good bargain 'No Trying' thou. I spotted this piece of cardigan which comes in grey, blue and red at just $10.
Go spot good deals if you are in the area. The lady incharge here is friendly and approachable.
Whenever I am in Bishan i will sure go into BHG, as this outlet seems to have more bargains and probably due to less crowd its easier to spot any good bargain.
The bags sections always on Sales :D and when you really take your time to walk in all departments, you can find alot of discounted items.
I spotted this dress, particularly like the top portion as it reminds me of 1 of my childhood dress :P. It's a great bargain too just $13.90. Lucky can fit in :D as discounted items normally dont have much stock.
