We are regulars at this eating place, now they added free flow ice-cream to their list, making it more worthwhile eating here.
The area has been newly renovated not long ago, it's simple and comfortable to dine in. The waitress and waiter are friendly and fast in service.
Might be alittle noisy when it's packed and they have a playarea for kids (There's where most of the noise come from).
Our favourite Herbal Chicken soup Set and DF Chicken set. We will fill our mugs with free flow of Coke, Sprite, Rootbeer or Coffee, any1 you choose or try them all. :)
Now you get to choose 6different favours of ice cream. yummyy......
2sets cost us only $22 (round off), which is very worth it that includes desserts and drinks (free flow).
I bought my tickets even before The Flyer launched but only went on Wednesday.
I have heard alot of stories when people up there, slow, boring, nothing to see also excited, kids have fun.
When I jump board the capsule, i am excited coz it's not station waiting for you to board, it's moving. The views are great, as it goes higher and higher, even better. I boarded at 5.30pm just after drizzling and caught a rainbow in view.
As the capsule goes real high, i start to feel my legs weak especially when i look down to see the tiny cars and buses and human beneath me. It was great but really not for weak heart ya.
Just as you approach the tiptop, they will annonce to tell you that you are at the highest point.
I enjoy the ride and find it too fast, only around 20minutes i touch down on earth again.
Will sure go again when RI is completed, by then might have much nicer scenery and will head straight to Kenko after the ride for foot massage to strength my weaken legs, :)
And of course my favourite window seat, viewing the koi pond and my favourite Carolina Honeys Baby Ribs.
Their service and food is good and fast and I must admit at peak hours dinner time on weekends or public holidays, you might have to wait a little bit longer then usual for seats, ordered or even refilled of water but overall their staffs are friendly and fast.
The environment is very soothing and comfortable, with no loud music.
I have never go to Orchard outlet yet, will go try it out. :)
My gf brought me to this airconditioned killiney eating place on one hot monday afternoon.
We would showed to our seats almost immediately, although it's very crowded. The place are so packed and the seats are so cramped. The waitress even apologised saying it's lunchtime, the place is abit cramp.
We had our orders taken and within 5mintues, the food was served. The udon was slightly too oily and the curry was too diluted. As we eat, we heard a few others who walked in and try to squeeze through to be seated, was grumbling about the cramp seats too.
This is not the place for relaxing, it's a eat and go place. We moved to another nearby cafe for coffee immediately after finished our food.
My 1st time there but will not go during lunch hour again.
This is my 1st visit for their dim sum buffet, I have been here for dinner ala carte before.
When the dim sum was served, was very much a disappointment as they are not too presentable and the food itself dont taste good. I wonder is it because it's buffet style. It's not the standard I have expected, since I have heard good stuff of this Restaurant. If it's several fried items you ordered, they are all served together on a plate instead of individual, which I dont like the sight of it.
I was told of a real incident, a group of guys took the last order with several fried food, when the food was served, all are piled up like a mountain. I dont know about others, I find it rude and unpleasant. With such serving, it's normal the guys can't finish. What a sight!
The aunties and uncles there are fast but can be dont bother attitude also, we have to wave a few times for order to be taken and was thrown from one to the other to take order.
When one of our dish wasn't served, we asked 1 aunty to check and she told us immediately, she will go cook for us now.. It's her humour to ease the long waiting time we had, but I dont seems to have the humour for such remarks. I consider it rude though.
I know of elders fancy this restaurant but for myself, I wont want to walk into it again unless it's Wedding or Elder's Birthday.
