The chocolate cake is smooth, filled with creamy chocolate mousse and loads of dark sticky rich chocolate. One tiny slice is enough to hit heaven...

I was so surprised by the quality of Chocolate Origin's chocolate cake. I was served a tiny slice from a birthday bash event and was surprised by this humbly looking plain chocolate cake which taste exploded in my mouth. The filling is rich and made of premium chocolate. Its full of flavor and yet of the right balance of sweetness and the raw taste of cocoa. Love the sleek smooth and chic looking glossy patent look of the face of the cake. Its plain looking, just like its packing which is a white box and a small logo at the side.

It seems the other chocolate fudge cakes from LANA or Awfully chocolate has met their match. Now if I were to impress anybody with chocolate cakes in Singapore, Chocolate Origin will be the one.

Smooth, rich and premium tasting yet with a reasonable price. A small cake serving about 6 will cost approx $28 however because of the quality tightly packed in that one small round sleek looking cake, its totally worth every cent.

There serve only plain chocolate or dark chocolate... How specialized is that :)

Even though subway is EVERYWHERE... and their sandwiches are the same for as long as I had a subway sandwich, I still like it.. Because its healthy and the cookies are yummy!

This outlet is very special, its right underneath the escalator and with its high tables and chairs, it is not very comfy to hang and thats perhaps why i always could get a seat at this outlet and like everyone else, i won't stay very long here.

Food is great, service is quick at the counter however, tables don't get cleared so often and the queue starts from the inside of the already crampy eating space.. Should it start from the entrance, it would have looked more popular and more natural for people to buy their food and then walk deeper into the restaurant to seat.

They have improved their drink counter. Now they do have MILO for self-serve :)

Really interesting outlet, but beware the onlookers from the upward escalator above you. It means guarding your food to prevent any UFO from floating down from above and watch that cleavage of yours.

They have moved to a spanking new outlet, perhaps location might just still be the same but the layout of this part of Suntec City has changed tremendously. I hardly could recognize the mall though I was labelled the Mall Queen of SG by the GAGA Girls...

The floor has been replaced with shiny new stone slabs and the lightings a sparkling new housing with bright bulbs that gives a glaring floor shine. Along with the huge ceiling to floor shop front glass, this outlet is simply amazing. The layout for every La Senza outlet is about the same with spacious changing rooms and the signature pink, black and white colour scheme. Large signboards showcasing in stall styles and sales if any as well as all the OH SO PRECIOUS bras, underwear and lingerie neatly hung from their wall racks.

I love the way they organize stuffs unlike the regular lingerie department at malls, they just simple stack the same design together with their individual sizes in a bunch and perhaps some mannequins wearing them.. Sometimes it doesn't even look appealing, perhaps the design, cut, style, material and look is not a good combination. La Senza's bras are appealing, not just in colour but also in style and comfort. Yes.. It looks comfortable and extremely sexy and after trying it in the changing room, I suppose what you see is indeed what you get.

The staff is helpful and have good product and customer knowledge. Armed with a handy measuring tape draped across their shoulders, they definitely can find the right fit and size for you and of course if you would wish to be pushed from the basement to the pant-house, they sure have the right model that can do just that and yet still looking classy. The staff will introduced me to some of the best bargains and best styles and advised me to try on a few designs due to the different in cutting and our individual preferences, while we proceeded towards the large and luxurious changing room, i was surprised they actually have to use a key to open up the changing room for trials. Hm... perhaps its a anti-thief precaution or maybe even a no sleeping inside changing room counter measure, since the changing rooms are so comfy and luxurious.

The entire experience left me feeling like a princess and radically i felt like running through the mall screaming " I LOVE MY BOOBS" :)

    Taking Sexy up a Notch!!!
La Senza's sexy lingerie is a must have for every cosmopolitan woman.

I am always excited to step into La Senza... The shiny, smooth and hard flooring that made my Stiletto heels sounds like a million dollars and the varied arrays of vivid colours dressing the walls with distinctive flavors of suggestive brassier, kinky night gowns, neon narrow back undies heightens my sense of self worth and level of sexiness.

Love the piano black furniture and the hot pink fluffs that make the atmosphere so provocative and exciting. Carefully designed Lingerie in pop colours and delightful details are being being hung carefully on their respective racks like trophies lifted high for all to see and oogle... The designs are intricate... you can find simple basic coloured pieces to well-padded to enhance those curves in peekaboo lace or elegant gold trimmed soft fabric. The designs are endless and you can get them in a matching set to set the heat rising...

Love the bold displays and the easy to reach drawers that arranges the brassier according to your size. In other words, check out the designs on display and find all the different types of sexiness available in the drawer according to your size.
Watch out for the LEVELS... well its truly as describe.. the level of sexiness. Le Senza Lingerie can help you climb from basement to the penthouse effortlessly. Push the hotness upwards and watch the heat escalate. Well pushing up your prized asset is also a delicate skill. A bad push up bra will make you look suffocated with lines and curves like a tied up rice dumpling and so much padding that make you look like you have got ROCKS for breast.... well... invest in a good level 4 La Senza and make the by watchers breathless instead. With the right soft natural padding that lifts your assets ever so gently, caressing that soft bouncy fullness without tight lines making you swell with pride while you party your night away. So be sure to check out the LEVELs on the top of the display cabinet to pick your level of sexiness.

But as mum always say... you must always try what you wanna buy to avoid disappointment when you get home. The Staff is always nice with a cheery face to show you to the changing room which is spacious, chic and layered with a thick fluff of black carpet. Lock the cold heavy matt steel door handle and go wild with these colourful and sexy girl things. Ample space for me to turn around and many wall hooks for easy hanging plus a small stool to see how you will look like when seated is why we take so long in the changing room. Be Calm!!! theres a few changing rooms so you can take your time.

After trying, buying is a breeze. The lady at the cashier is helpful and quick in packing your merchandises neatly, wrapping them up in 2 layers of hot pink paper and also stuff a hot pink paper on the top of the paper bag to prevent others from sneaking a peak at your merchandise. I exited the shop in style with a black dotted paper bag that looked like a flower, roughly the size of my handbag feeling excited and money well spent.

Well, I find the price to be slightly higher but their items are definitely worth every cent... Perhaps you also profit from not having to turn on the heaters at night. Be sure to join their membership programs and watch out for their sales...

Sizzling Hot and Pretty Lingerie... Every woman deserves to be pampered... and I Love being a Woman!

Love this outlet at Somerset 313. Its the first outlet of Uniqlo I have ever been and as their corporate outlook, the entire shop is brightly lit and glossy white. It looks clean, well organized and the products are displayed clean and neat.

Its such a pleasure to be shopping in a logically organized shop such as this. Related merchandises are always placed near by and prices visible and easy to understand. Love the quality of their wear and the friendliness of their staff. Its always an upbeat atmosphere in the shop, staff moving efficiently and smiles all over.

My favourite buys is the printed t-shirts. Designs so cool with special themes such as CAMPBELL, ANIMATIONS such as ONE PIECE and Japanese corporate brandings which is unique to their franchise. Also hip with the latest trending fashion must haves like skinny jeans and bright neon coloured tights... Good sizing that fit most of Singaporean Girls, though there is a survey that Asian girls especially in Singapore are growing in average dress size, I;m sure if everybody progresses on, then size M will still look like a size M though its suppose to be a larger size M by yesterday's standards.

Love their promotions and bargains... and they truly bring it down and back on up over the weekend kinda thing. I bought some tights for $19.90 (orginally priced at $35.90) over the weekend and the next weekday the price went back up to the original pricing. Quick yar!

Its a huge shop, you can get all your basics including undergarments for both girls and boys, clothings, accessories and even cool looking jackets. Great place to shop, nice stuffs to have... Will intro to all my friends :)

From useful basics to hot party wear, Asian Blouse brings the hot chick out of you.

Though a small outlet, Asian Blouse carries a good range of outfits for every occasion. Casual wears for weekends, work wears for office woes and sexy fashion for that hot night party! I also found some interesting accessories and neon coloured rubber belts to go with the Oh so Hip neon fashion pieces that is so popular now.

Prices are reasonable and the owner is a flexible and nice lady. There is a good range of sizes to choose from and be sure to pick something frou frou as their chiffon dresses are so cute.

They also do sell a range of skin care and health care products with special native recipes and ingredients, something we find it hard to find in urbanised Singapore.

Walking pass JolliBee @ level 6 of lucky plaza, while i was awing at the never ending queue the fast food chair, I in evidently walk into this asle and there on the left greeting me at the corridor is SULU Connection.

The name sounds rustic and I can understand why...
Sulu is an autonomous island province of the Philippines located in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Its capital is Jolo and occupies the middle group of islands of the Sulu Archipelago between Basilan and Tawi-Tawi.

Though we expect some native or rustic wildlife inspired clothing, what we find here is even more interesting. Accessories that are unique to Sulu's culture as well as bags and carriers that are fashionably SULU made with natural materials such as woven fabrics, wooden handles and embroidery.

They also do carry some basic items for the everyday shopper. Basics that we need everyday and its such a steal to buy them. My best find... springy hair ties 5 for S$1. Its the cheapest i can ever find and the hair ties are made in such good quality, i'm surprised at the prices.

They also have a good rack of daily bargains that are factory direct, like jeans in soft materials going for S$5.. Unbelievably true. So if you are nearby lucky plaza or having your lunch in the building, do drop by and you might just surprise yourself. :)

Lillywhites is such a catchy name, one cannot but have to walk in to browse at their ladies fashion collections.

I was having the ever famous Yong Tau Foo at Level 6 of Lucky Plaza when a cute top caught my attention. I was practically oogling at it for as long as my lunch lasted and hot soups lunches cannot be finished fast without ending up a casualty. Finally lunch ended and we quickly walked towards the shop.

Its not a huge shop but it does have a good variety of fashion must haves and some of these are great match ups for your basics. I discovered these basic single colours jeans tights. Usually the ones we buy are FREE sized, but the one on this rack has got sizes and fitted snuggly on a plus size me. Love the varied bright colours, a product of korea, these trendy tight jeans are a must have.

They also do have a good variety of office wear which totally goes with the tight jeans... I tried on a sleeveless frou frou collared top in light material and it fits nicely, cooling and the make of the top is surprising good.

Service is great, the staff is friendly, easy going and the prices are pretty reasonable. Will shop here again when i'm in lucky plaza.

    339. Francfranc (Vivocity)

Franc Franc @ vivocity is situated at the old location of the long gone PageOne Book store. I was bewildered as I walk by this retail outlet for home furnishing and lifestyle items. Guarding the entrance is some HUGE Dining Chairs and SAFARI Animals like the Giraffe, made for Giants... like those in the movie Jack and the Beanstock. I am both intrigued and humored.

Merchandises are neatly stacked and placed in a fun to shop manner. On neat looking clear plastic racks, round elevations in the middle of the shops and sturdy looking shelves by the pillars, neatly arranged by their kinds, designs and usage.

The types of merchandises varies from living furniture, lightings, shelves and book racks to teeny gritty items such as tooth brushes, stationary, candles and mugs. I mean you could really almost find anything you want here for luxurious living, just like BARANG BARANG. The things are usually in cosmopolitan styles with a clean polished looks, sharp shapes and trendy in an elegant manner.

    Some things i really loved:
    1) Candle holders... They have a good range of candle holders from the thin stick candles all the way to boorish chunky ones. They do sell the candles and the beautifully designed holders. Though asians usually do not have a taste for candles in the house except for religious reasons, I for one love the romantic atmosphere in lighting candles.

    2) Classic kitchen wares - I love the set kitchen wares sold separately. I mean we all love to have a matching set of tea cups, dessert plates and tea pots complete with sugar and creamer holder however, we are not such meticulous drinker that need the complete set. At francfranc you get to pick the pieces you feel you need and pay for them separately. i found a set I liked that is trimmed with gold and fine china prints and I paired it with a another design i found that is trimmed in blue with a polished gold surface plate. I mean its 2 designs but its compatible... Really nice.

Franc Franc is a place that provides really interesting merchandises and the environment is very conducive for browsing. There is ample space to walk around and plenty of stuffs to look, feel and oogle at. But if you bring your kids, prepare to leash them as this is not exactly a children friendly shopping area especially for running kids. The cups, saucers and merchandisers are stacked really high for these tiny feets...

If you have never been to Lucky Food Centre for lunch, then you are missing out some real nostalgic food. Amongst the bustling city life, nestled in the midst of Orchard Road where the highest shop rental and the most prestige European brands reside is this little gem that serves one of the best local food at a local price.

Its not a huge place and I find the seats very cramped... however I love the entire ambiance. When I stumbled upon this place after my boxing class one Saturday afternoon, I laterally felt i stepped on SOLID GOLD...

I had a bowl of Stewed meat noodle or we call it LOR MEE for a mere $3, I almost flipped... It was yummy, taste was authentic and reminds me of my childhood days. After this... I cannot but have to come back for more as long as I'm in this part of town.

They do serve plenty of yummy stuffs like minced meat noodle which is also delicious, economic rice which i find super reasonable pricing, roasted cuts of pork, chicken and duck and old school desserts such as green bean soup, etc.

The variety is good but seats are hard to grab especially during lunch hour. And on sundays, you do get to see groups of old men chatting up Filipino babes. Singapore is really a very inclusive society.

Good food, nice ambiance and love the mad rush :)
