Once you enter the shop, you will be greeted by the cheerful waiters and waitresses. Immediately, that creates a good impression.
The setting of the shop is rather nice. The renovated jus a few months ago, and now, the shop looks more attractive and special and has a rich culture of Japan in it.
The food are definetly up to standard. I especially likes the Crayfish ramen. The crayfish is always fresh and the gravy that comes with it is just perfect.
Their sides of white fish fillet etc are great as well.
Service is efficient and good and it's also value for money.
Ironically, at this guardian branch, the promoters(not guardian staff) are the friendly ones, but the cashier and pharmacists are the unfriendly ones.
There's a promoter there for a certain line of facial products who was very helpful and friendly and gave very useful recommendations.
However, the cashier is unfriendly and sometimes when i want to make payment, they're not at the counter and i have to wait a long time for them to make payment. That is one major thing they need to improve on. This had happened many times when i visit this guardian branch.
The pharmacist gives good recommendation is seems knowledgable enough, but when perhaps, they should just smile more.
Overall, the line of products they carry are rather comprehensive. If you 're looking for well-known brands of facial products, just pop by this guardian and you'll be able to find it.
I was appalled by the bad service me and my family received a few weeks back when we went there on a friday night. We waited close to 45 minutes to get a table for the queue was rather long. That was fine since we understand it is a friday night. However, the bad service attitude of the staff was simply unacceptable. The staff who took our order was rude and served us with a black face. When we asked for refill of our iced water, they took a long time to come. Asking for the bill took a even longer time to come.
I don't quite like the ambience of the place as well. It all looks just so messy and disorganised.
Food wise, it was fine. Nothing exceedingly good but just acceptable.
Given the bad service and the unpleasant experience, i don't think i would want to visit this branch again.
Everytime I walk past Pie Kia, the oily butter smell of the baking pies/baked pies is a little too overwhelming. For those who can't stand oily smell, I bet you won't even want to step into the stall.
However, the smell aside, I must say that their pies are rather nice. I tried their mushroom chicken, roast chicken and curry chicken pies and all three of them were rather nice. It was a tad too oily, but if you just eat one or two pies, it's fine.
I would recommend the curry chicken pie. The curry is not overly spicy and the taste is just right.
The hairdresser there are rather friendly and price is rather reasonable is well - $10 - $15 for a cut or trim.
Professionalism wise, they might not be as good as those at Jean Yip or Kimage, but definitely good and reliable enough if you just want a simple trim or cut at a affordable price.
They also offer various other services like chemical hair treatment, perming, rebonding etc.
