Actually, i don't know why so many people like to go to Vivo City. Yes, it's big. But there're also a lot of empty spaces and you have to walk a long way from one place to another! Also, the shops there are mainly the high-end ones, so certainly not a place to go if you're looking for more affordable things.
The whole place is very messy as well. Sometimes i really can't find my way around. It's especially hard to find my favoruite shop, Candy Empire, if i take the bus there and go in from another entrance(not the MRt side one).
Usually, when i go to Vivo, i will just go to the sky garden and sit around. Shopping there is just to tiring and pointless for i won;t find anything.
If you're looking for sports shoes, this is the place to go. They have many shops selling sports shoes and most of them are cheaper than retail prices.
Sports apparel are cheaper as well. The more significant ones people look for will be adidas, nike and puma brand. The have it all there.
It will be even cheaper when they're having sales.
Other than that, there's also places to have a bite if you're feeling hungry after shooping(:
Seriously, WAIT FOR THEIR SALE if you want to get anything from Cotton On.
When they hold a sale, man, it is really a sale. A lot of their clothes prices are marked down by a lot, some up to 50%!
I think that their clothes are quite comfortable, although the fabric is quite thin, it's soft and comfy!
The shop wise, i must say that it is ALWAYS crowded. The clothes are always messed up (by the shoppers) so it will be difficult to actually enjoy shopping in there. But if you're looking for something cheap yet comfortable, tolerate the crowd and you'll get your reward=)
I like to shop at Wisma Atria for they have many different type of shops all in one place. Cosmetics at shops at Sasa, and many ladies clothes at shops like mango, forever 21, esprite, cotton on. You can certianly get something there!
Furthermore, it's located conveniently just next to the MRT station. After shopping there, you can just cross the road to Tangs or simply walk down to takashimaya.
Not to mention that there's also food republic in Wisma that offers many different food from western to chinese to malay. =)
