I was really really :) when Borders opened at Parkway! Because all along, whenever I wanted to go to Borders, it was oh so far Wheelock Place.
The Borders Parkway is much smaller than Wheelock's. But I always visit Borders whenever I'm at Parkway because first and fore most, you can read for free! And I love the wide selection of books at border.
A little down side is the lack of chairs. Most seats are always taken up. And Borders is always crowded with people.
I quite like Liat Towers Zara. Because its like a Flagship Boutique. I think its the largest zara store in Singapore. Correct me if I'm wrong. When I stepped into the store, I thought I was in some boutique in Paragon. Very neat and nice. But the escalators is a little redundant. Those escalators are like the escalators leading you from the sidewalk to Wisma Atria. And I really hate the fitting room for guys in the store, the door is swing type, and there's no lock system and no assistant based at the fitting room. And the cashier on the second floor is practically useless since payment must be made downstairs.
I love Parkway's Cotton On! I stay stone's throw from Parkway besides. When Cotton On first opend at parkway, I thought it was some shitty chain shop like Giordano/Bossini/Baleno/Hang Ten etc, but I was wrong! Cotton On is like Topman but cheaper prices. I love Cotton On Berms and Tees, but I'm disappointed with the Guy's shoes they have. The quality of the basic shoe is -_-
