My parents and I usually frequent around the Kovan area and went to try the punggol nasi lemak due to the much hype there (as seen from the long snake of queue even outside the road).

The plus point would be their very fragrant rice, but what I seriously like would be how each individual rice stays as its own, not sticking with the others. Love how when you put the rice inside your mouth and it feels 'Yi li Yi li' not moist or clumpy.

Another highlight would be their fried chicken wings, very crispy and juicy. Kind of like the unique spice that they use to marinate the chicken, which makes it different from others. No wonder I could see many people ordering the fried chicken wings in side orders.

However what resulted in the loss of 2 stars would be the staggering price of the Nasi Lemak ! I was shocked when I saw a few small Ladies Fingers, a chicken wing and something else (egg I think), and it costed us so much more than we thought. ):

The queue was extremely long, which probably made the servers a little frustrated, looking unwilling when we asked for curry in the rice.

I still remember my first visit to Downtown East Sakura International Buffet was such a fantastic experience which prompted me to visit there another time on Christmas eve.

The many different varieties of food overwhelmed me and I especially love their section of raw delicacies, the Salmon Sashimi especially, was extremely fresh and tender, which resulted in me making so many rounds tucking in the sashimi.

Another of my favourites would be the lamb chop, which was extremely tasty and juicy. I absolutely love the Grilled Salmon too! It was so beautifully grilled and the special sauce on top just made it heavenly.

Desserts also come in a wide range, namely marble cheese cake, mint choc cake and different flavours of ice cream for you to choose.

The service was extremely good as well, as the servers are very prompt in helping you to clear your table, politely asking you with a smile before taking your plates.

Perhaps a negative point would be the spaces between the tables are rather narrow and small which result in inconvinience when making our way to take the food. But otherwise, I love the outlet at Downtown East and would definitely make my trip there very soon. (:

I prefer cathay cineplexes much more than any other cineplexes probably because of the more comfy seats which are rather spacious as compared to other cineplexes.

The Cathay is my favourite cinema of all ! ;D Seriously love their couple seats. Haha, without the arm rest thing, and allows you to cuddle tightly (watching horror movies esp) with your loved ones. (: I actually prefer their sound system, that you can really feel your heart thumping along with the sound effects.

Another plus point is their sweet popcorn is among the best that i've eaten of so the many cineplexes. Haha. The popcorns are mostly coated with honey (or syrup) that it gives an extremely pleasant taste ! I was just a newly convert popcorn lover after frequent visits to cathay. x)
