Everytime I walk past the Souperlicious shop, on my way to lunch, I always smell the aroma of yummy soup!
However, dont you think the soups and most of the food they sell are rather expensive? A bowl of soup for around seven dollars? I'd rather buy storebought Heinz soup, etc.
I think the nice, compfortable environment makes it popular, especially among young adults and teenagers. Maybe it's because old people don't like the cooking method of the soups (because they are used to eating clear soups)....
I might try their soups one day, if they lower the price. However, I don't think that will happen, as the financial crisis is still around, and not many businesses lower the prices at all, in fact they usually jack it up!!
I have heard many rave reviews about this place, and it was even mentioned on television (Channel 8, and it was a show about really affordable and delicious buffets!)
It costs less than $20 to have a buffet! :)
I have never really tried the food there, but I always see a LONGLONGLONG queue outside the restaurant.
I think it must be selling alot of yummy food.....
I hope I can try it one day. The only problem is that.....
THE QUEUE OUTSIDE IS SOOOO LONG!
I think I will probably have trouble getting inside! ;)
OOH!
I love the Japanese food there. The tofu they sell is less than 2 dollars but it's really delicious. All I need to do I dip it in soya sauce. Yummy!
Meidi-Ya also sells items from America and Europe like Sara Lee frozen products, Ben and Jerry's and Hershey's.
I heard that the Ice cream (Gelato) they sell there. But I think it's too expensive.
My favourite part of Meidi-Ya is that it caters to all. The small little food shops there are really good. Also, many Japaese themselves go there to shop so I trust the quality of their products.
However, I think the shop in Plaza SIngapura is a little to cramp. Aaaacck.
I think there's nothing wrong with the lack of space, but I think It's just that.....
WHY???
Really I don't know how to explain it. Maybe it's just the furniture that makes it super-duper cramp. I wonder...
Other than that, I have no complains about MOS burger. Nope, not at all......
So all MOS burger lovers, don't stop visiting the PLaza Singapura outlet, or any other outlet just because of people like me!

:) I especially like the ham and sushi they sell. Like most things in Carrefour, they are cheap and good.
I also like the store's very own brand. Most of the products here comes from Europe and are of great quality.
Alot of sampling counters are there too. So you get to try many things, especially things like frozen fillets, and buns, etc.
It's a really good place to do your grocery shopping once a week.
HAve fun!!
