I love Mos Burger for it's delicious burgers (especially Rice Burgers and Konyaku seasonal Drink!) .... But Bugis is not the place to enjoy those.
The place is rather dirty and small, and the people are glum. Also, the quality of the food is not as good as Shaw's outlet.
Haiyahhh...
I think cleanliness matters alot when it comes to restaurants, etc. If a world famous brand like MOS burger can't even maintain good hygiene, then smaller food shop will not even have an example to follow.
Disgusting.
I don't really like this Watson's outlet. It is waayyyyyy too small. The people there are cold, and hardly ever smile, unless the are joking around with their own colleagues.
The variety of beauty products here are not so good, too. And although the shop is tidy and clean, it still isn't a very nice place to shop at.
The prices are reasonable, but most of the quality of the products aren't as good as those in Watsons Ngee Ann, etc, etc. They also don't sell some products (Eg, certain Japanese Beuty Brands) so its pretty dull there.
Unless you want/need to get the basic-est of beauty products there, or want to get a small sweet, etc, don't go there to buy stuff....
I love the Apple Strudel here, although the coating on the crust is a tad too sweet for my liking. And the shop is freezing!!! AAAH!
I think this is an affordable place to read a book, chat with mates, study, meet up with colleagues, etc.
The items here are not too pricey, but really yummy. You should try the Oreo Cheesecake. It's really good.
However, before turning adventurous, you should obviously try the Apple Strudel. The crust is not too tough, and the apples are sweet, juicy and yummy. They make Great gifts, too! I had it once as a replacement of my Birthday Cake.
LOL.
Vivo City is a really good place for the adventurous type. It's really near Sentosa, so if needed, you can buy some drinks, toiletries, etc, at the HUMONGOUS "Giant" outlet there. There's also the iconic National Geographic shop there too. It's very much like a museum, where many people browse around the various artowork, pottery, ornaments, etc. There's also replicas of some pieces which you can buy, although they can get really pricey.
Vivo is also a nice place for people to relax. Little seats are dotted around the mall. PageOne is a great place to relax too. You can read a book and sit on the seats/floor there.
But, I think Vivo City is way too big. Old people especially cannot seem to navigate in this crowded mall. Poor things!
I like Ngee Ann City alot and I go there almost every weekend. Its good for everybody, even kids! I like the fact that it's for anybody, whether your budget is huge (You can shop around Chanel, Gucci, Bally, Louis Vuitton and Kenzo)
Or, if your budget is not so big, you can go to places like Mango, Harley Davidson, etc, etc, etc. Its a great place to hangout. With places like The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, KFC, and Mac Donald's, Crystal Jade, etc, it's suitable for any pallette. The food court is pretty good too. I especially like the Japanese food. There's also a great Bakery too!
Its the perfect place for foodies and fashionistas!
