I often come here when I shop at Taka. The staff are mostly very bubbly, which brightens the mood. And the service is really quick and all the staff are well-mannered. It may not be a restaurant in a 5-star hotel, but the simple things in life count too :)
My first time at kushinbo was awesome. It was like a dream come true. My favourite Japanese foods all laid out neatly and nicely. But the next time I came, the quality of the seafood was really bad. And so was the next time. Now, thinking of sushi or sashimi makes me sick.
Adidas is a well known branded everywhere, so I was really disappointed when I went to this outlet.
I was looking around for a new jacket in the store. Then I saw it. It was a nice plain white jacket that was soft and compfortable. What's good is that it is affordable even without the sale they had then. Since I couldn't find a size that fit me on the racks, I asked the promoter for my estimated size. Without even bothering to go to the store to check, he just replied "No stock". Giving him the beneit of the doubt that he really knew that there wasnt any stock left, I asked when the stock will come in. He replied "In around 2 weeks". Not satisfied, I visited the same shop again 4 or 5 days later. This time, a young man attended to me. When I asked him to kindly show me my size he simply smiled and said "OK, sure." He came back with the size I wanted, contrary to what the previous promoter had said. It is this young man that made me rate them 4 stars and not 2 stars.
I am not really interested in furniture all that much, but the staff here at Courts Bukit Timah really peeved me. When I inquired about the specs of a washing machine to a young male staff, he replied me anyhow saying " It;s over there"
I can't blame him for being tired as I went there at around 8 45pm. But his posture was sooo bad! He was leaning on a washing and talking! That was so sloppy.
A few weeks before, I had another bad experience with the staff. A member of the family was looking for a new laptop. Since Courts Bukit Timah was nearby, we decided to go there to take a look.
When we wanted to inquire about the models of a certain brand, the promoter gave a sulky face and talked to us. That was still bearable. When we inquired about some details, he just shoved the nearby pamphlet to our faces without saying anything, expecting us to read it.
WE WERE MAD THAT DAY.
Although Harvey Norman is just like any other electronics store, the service here blew me away.
Actually, I did not go to Jurong Point to shop. I was in Suntec City and Harvey Norman was having a sale. I must say they how to attract customers! :)
Anyway, I had just shifted to a new home then, so my family decided to get some new things for the home. We decided to buy a new washing machine as ours was old and although it was in good condition, hey, everyone needs some luxury sometimes!
I walked to the LG washing machine section and looked at the beautiful red washing machine-cum-dryer with nice flower designs by a certain Korean artist. Curious about the energy consumption and steam technology of this beauty, I turned and asked the promoter, a pretty, young lady. She helped me by telling us of her own experiences with the machine, its pros and cons, and even gave us her phone number and asked us to call if we ever needed help. Not only that, she even showed us other models that were also good, too! Thankful, I enquired which Harvey Norman she worked at. It was none other than Jurong Point.
Later, I went to browse through some fridges. A tall young man approached me and kindly told me everything I needed to know. His enthusiasm moved me, so I bought the fridge, with the knowledge that I am buying something of high quality, thanks to him. He also works at Jurong Point!
