Wen I first saw the website, what made me happy was the nice layout. Call me superficial and picky, but a good layout always convinces me to stay on and browse the products. However, sad to say their items on sale aren't nearly as attractive. I know it's purely a matter of personal taste, but I did not particularly like any item on sale. Also, bigger and higher quality photos of their clothing, especially would be appreciated. I had to squint slightly to actually view the items properly. If your taste is a universe away from mine, then I suggest you check this place out.
I'm not particularly into this brand- except for their shoes :) Although the soles are paper-thin, hey, what do you expect for something so affordable?! :) I like this plain flats and the flip flops you get at $5 with any purchase. Those flip flops are as good as any Havaianas or Ipanema types, and it is way cheaper.
I don't really like shop at this particular branch because the music is especially loud! (compared to other branches I've been to) and it can get annoying. Also, the layout is such that sometimes you have to squeeze in between to, say, get an item from a shelf.
Other than that- Great clothes for those on a tighter budget!
The first thing I noticed when I visited this spree blog shop was the neat way in which they presented their sprees, something many blogshops, even those really popular ones, have yet to achieve. Okay, so their blog is not as pretty as some of the blog shops I've visited, but the layout is wonderful. They even state how much before they reach their cap, so basically once you enter the site, you see an overall "status" of the various sprees, which is really cool. I have spoken to the owners about some things I was unsure of via email, and she is well mannered and patient, unlike some owners who will give you cold answers (hey, you can still tell, so what if it is via email) Though I have yet to purchase anything from this shop, I think I may, should I ever want to spree and get someone a gift, or new clothes for myself.
I used to have to travel an almost one hour journey from my home in Upper Bukit Timah all the way to Tampines, just to get my hands on Uniqlo products. So it was extremely welcome news when Uniqlo opened their Ion branch the year before. I like that this store has a wider space spanning two storeys, as this makes the shop more organised (the female and male clothing lines are on different floors) and the shopping experience more comfortable. Over here, the staff are extremely helpful, and their greetings although slightly robotic, make shopping here pleasant. However, I did experience a couple of mishaps in which the staff did not know where to find a certain product, and I had to look for it on my own. One incident also stands out in my mind. It was around closing time, and my mother and I went to the counter to pay for our purchases. Next to us were two young men in their 20s. The girl serving us at the cashier told us that there were no more small carriers (we had bought very few items), and gave us a large bag. We were okay with this, until we saw the two young men getting a slightly smaller carrier. When we enquired about this, the girl simply said "It's the same size" though it was obviously untrue. That incident aside, I think Uniqlo is one of the best shops, in terms of service.
I've been looking at the Korean version of this website ever since I saw many people "spreeing" from this website. They're popular for mostly clothes, what with the latest fashion trends from Korea. Although the layout of the shop is slightly messy to me, I feel that it has pretty decent items for a reasonable price, considering that most of the items are made in Korea, thus ensuring good quality. Since this shop is quite established and most people (myself included) have no problems with it, I think it's a good place to shop.
