I am a big fan of Marche.
And I was soooo sad when the Heeren outlet was closed. And replaced by Village, or something like that.
But I wasn't sad for long.
It moved to my FAVE mall! How cool.
My favourite foods there are the ice cream (which is actually from Movenpick), Swiss Rosti (the potato-pancake thing, it's good with a sausage) and the pastry. (the stuff under the takeaway section is GOOD!) and I also like their Chocolate muffins ($2.70)
There's Banana in it and it's not too sweet and there's melted chocolate bits in it. Totally tempting. Not good for people who are dieting. You'll get addicted. Like me.
FYI: When you spend $20 at Marche, ask for the card thing. If it's available, good for you. It's basically like... you accumulated stamps (1 stamp with every $30 or more spent in a reciept) and you can redeem stuff starting from 3 stamps.. Like a cup of coffee, etc.
<3 Marche!
I quite like Lot 1. In itself, it's quite a family mall, and seeing the kids and stuff is really heartwarming.
However, I don't think MOF here gets as much praise from me...
The desserts and drinks are equally AWESOME compared the Suntec City outlet, don't get me wrong, but something is still missing from this outlet...
It basically lacks that "nice" ambience that Suntec City's outlet is totally bursting with.... I just don't quite know how to go about explaining it. Hmmm....
No competition. Suntec wins.
Azabu Sabo.
BAM!
What comes to my mind?
Yummy yummy Japanese Ice cream made into towering pyramids on super crunchy cones...
well I wouldn't call them cones.
They're not really cones. If you know what I mean.
Anyway, I particularly like the fruit flavours (Eg, blueberry) as the chocolate is way to mild for a chocoholic like me.
I've never tried the Hot... hot.. Bah. something hot. Hot cakes? NO.. nevermind.
I've never tried anything other then their ice cream so I cannot really tell you much about them... Heard it was pretty okay, though.
I like the ambience. You know, tinkling Japanese music, like that out of an anime series.
However, the shop assistants there cannot really speak English. No offence.
I still prefer Clarke Quay man.
I quite like Burger King.
Not LOVE kind of like, but I guess the quality control and standard of their food are reasonable, the latter being above the usual food-food joint.
I like the West Mall outlet as it is warm, full of life.
The people working there are mostly heartlanders, and, although most can't really speak English, they are cheery and helpful, and, more importantly, effecient.
Unlike some joints elsewhere, where the employees stand around doing nothing, sometimes even chatting with their fellow employees, Burger King at West Mall has reasonably effecient, and hardworking employees.
I love the location of the place too!
OH OH OH!
AND THE MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER TOO.
YUMM!
I like walking along the Clarke Quay area.
It's really therapeutic, and totally great on a weekend.
Super romantic, too! :)
Riverside point is located in a really fun area.
Many tourists always walk in the area... very often.
I like alll the malls in the area.
Like Central, Boat Quay,
Liang Court! ^^
I like the river boat rides!!.
Magnificent view, Lovely scenery,
Great food,
Nice decor...
Wow.
This is the perfect escape from the typical Orchard Road hang outs like Shaw Centre, CK Tangs and whatnot.
Dontcha think?
