Initially my hubby and I wanted to dine at Wakashachiya, but happened to see queue formed at Waraku Japanese casual dining restaurant, we decided to join in the queue. The servings for noodles and don(rice) come in 2 sizes - Medium and Regular. If you're a small eater, choose Medium, otherwise you can choose Regular for a big serving. We ordered Unatama Don (medium size - $10.80), Yasai Curry Udon (medium size - $8.80) and Crab Miso Nabe - $12.80. Their service is super fast. Within 10 minutes, 3 dishes were served. (I was amazed by their fast speed as the restaurant was super crowded & busy) I gave them 5 stars for their fast service, but the food did not meet my expectations. The unagi was too soft and the sweet sauce was very bland. The udon has a "Q" texture but curry tasted too sweet. Lastly, the crab nabe was super salty. The whole soup is dark brown colour. Ya, but we cannot compare to those normal crabs. Cos paying only less than $10 for 3 crabs :) The crabs are really fresh. Female crabs are bigger and has roe in it.
