Located in the premise of S'pore top university, nus, Sukiya sells a fair variety of sushi and Japanese food. Most are comparable to those in Japanese restaurant but at a cheaper price.

For example, the eel don set comes with a miso soup, drink, and the main course at only $5.90. The main course is a medium-sized eel, which taste just as nice as those in outside restaurants. Of course it comes with rice and a tiny portion of vegetables. However I find the rice less tasty compared to those elsewhere.

This self-service restaurant has ample seating capacity, so even during lunch time you should be able to find a place.

MissKoh. Com is a website created to increase awareness of the Strait Times Pocket Money Fund, and students from lower-income family.

It offers a range of study material for Primary to JC levels all of which are free.

Particularly useful are the school exam papers uploaded on this website, which are mainly Maths, English language and GP from various schools, including a few top schools like Victoria, Anglo-Chinese, and etc. For some papers, you are required to sign up for a free membership before you can download them.

It also offers direct link to online lessons for English, pronunciation, and life skills.

Do check out this website, if you have any school- going children

I bought a ring from this jewellery shop only once. Overall the experience was not too bad. They were having a sale when I visited, I told the salegirl my budget and she recommended a few rings. She patiently allowed me to try them a few times, and when I wanted a small size that they didn't have. She offered to have it altered at $25. I found the charge too steep for alteration, but I accepted it anyway.

She sounded professional and explained to me that the ring will look oval due to the large alteration in size. She left a message on my hp when it was ready.

When I came to collect it the saleman didn't offer a plastic bag. Are they going green like Bodyshop?

Its location is really ideal- this clinic just faces the taxi stand, which is near the main entrance. So throngs of people pass this clinic everyday. I guess this explains its booming business. So unless you are the first patient, you can expect to wait, sometimes for up to 45 minutes.

Dr Sims is a Chinese male doctor, who is serious and professional. He strives to address all your queries even when there are many patients. The charges are standard, and the medicine are usually what you can expect from a GP.

The interior of the clinic is pleasantly decorated, with a TV and adequate seats except during peak hours, where patients may choose to visit the shopping centre while waiting for their turn.

Located near Jurong Point Shopping Centre. The library can be reached by crossing the overhead bridge facing the taxi stand. Then walk for 3 minutes, and you will see this building with an exercise area outside it. The 3 -storey library is seated right inside this modern building, along with the community centre.

Inside the decor is modern, stylish, neat and fairly spacious. But its generous walking space also translates into fewer books. Although there are all the general categories, like children, adult fiction, reference, and etc. But I would not say the collection is very large.

There are also only about 10 computers available.

However the librarians are polite and friendly.

On the whole, I think Singapore libraries have made great strides in terms of service, interior design and book collection.
