I went to the Coslab outlet at Westmall a few times for Eyebrow shaving. Each time I was served immediately although I didn't make an appointment, perhaps it is because I usually drop by on a weekday afternoon.

The service you receive really depend on the beautician attending to you, some are really professional and spend more time to do a good job, while others are less conscientious. But so far I haven't had any bad experience with them.

Eyebrow shaving only cost about $5.50, while Eyebrow plucking is roughly $10. This is cheaper than Jean Yip which charges $13 whether it is shaving or plucking.

Bodyshop products have the nicest scents around. The prices are slightly more or equal to cosmetics/skincare products you find of -the -shelf in Pharmacy, but it is still more affordable than brands like Estee Launder, SK-II, etc. I think this is probably a safe, and good brand to try as it doesn't use harsh chemicals.

Discounts could be had during the great S'pore Sale, but don't expect substantial reduction in prices.

Service staff are usually polite, and have good knowledge of the products they are selling. But I sometimes feel harassed by their zest.

This dental clinic has 2 branches, the other is at Bishan. Both doctors take turn to serve at both clinics. There are a couple-Dr Pang is the husband. Personally I prefer him as he is gentle.

Once, when there was a problem with my teeth, he slotted me into his schedule despite the full bookings. Another time, he saved me from unnecessary agony, when I seeked a second opinion from him about the extraction of a wisdom tooth- he suggested that it was not essential that I have it removed.

The clinics are well-equipped with x-rays machines and all. The decor is also pleasant with full conditioning. Rates are competitive.

This store specialise in silver jewellery, and crystal bracelets. A crystal bracelet could set you back by about $30. I bought one, and it broke after a few wears. No idea it is due to poor workmanship, sheer bad luck in purchasing a faulty piece, or my carelessness. But I heard it provides some aftersale- service, still waiting for the chance to bring it back for repair.

However, I must say, the crystal bracelets are pleasing to the eyes, and come in various colours. Besides this I also bought a crystal- and-pearl bracelet, but I haven't worn it yet. So I don't know if it will be as fragile as the last piece.

          Service is alright.

I take cabs fairly frequently, so I have my fair share of good and bad cabbies. The good ones are talkative, and helpful. Some go so far as to waive fares if you are critically ill and vulnerable. Bad ones take longer routes, drive slowly, are rude, and there was one who even threatened to throw me out during a peak hour, when I argued with him over wrong directions.

My main gripe about the taxis in S'pore (not just Comfort) is its rising fares and complex pricing structure: peak hours charges, midnight surcharges, fuel charges(recently scrapped), etc. A plus point is that all taxis here are safe to ride, unlike in some countries where passengers are abducted or robbed by drivers. There are also no bogus cabbies who charge inflated fares.
