Went dinner at the paragon outlet few days ago. Ordered my usual fave - meatball pasta. Not all outlets have this so i'm glad they have it.
I'm not sure whether its my taste buds or what, but there's something missing in the taste of the pasta. And the meatballs are not very well cooked so I left quite few sliced open and uneaten. I wonder whether the meatballs are made by the people themselves as the taste seems to vary.
I do like the open concept of this restaurant but the table that I sat at, the floors are not that clean, not sure what happened to the diner before me. Seems like there is alot of crumbs or something.
I think if they could improve and be more diligent in all these details, the experience at delifrance will be better.
This should be the one with the 24hours shopping Ntuc Fairprice right? Fairprice extra. only one storey but it occupies quite a big space within. Nowadays, all these supermarkets look more and more like other supermarkets giants like Giant, Sheng Siong and Carrefour, all with their range of electronics, clothes and others. Things offered are quite the same as you see in Giant. In a way I still prefer the shopping experience at Carrefour as it seems much bigger and there are more things and variety offered. If you just need to get some cheap essentials, Ntuc is still a good place to get stuffs for your home.
Loved the glass walls and interior design of the National Museum. Its really a real nice place to go to especially during the weekdays when its not crowded. And enjoy a cuppa at the cafe.
Here's a shot of one part the interior I took inside the building after i'm done with the special exhibition by Mr. Christian Lacroix, the costumier at the Exhibition Gallery 1 and The Canyon. As well as a shot of the newest art-on-site by Indonesian artist Teddy, which you will see it as soon as you step in the entrance of the museum. It will be there from May 2009 to October 2009. And the costumes collection by Mr. Christian Lacroix, will be on till 7th June 2009. Being quite a 'stranger' to fashion stuffs, I was really intrigued after the 1 hour free guided tour. The tour guide was good in describing how the costumes were for and the materials used and why they were used and so on. Its good that I actually went through the tour and understood what it is all about.
The national museum always manage to have real interesting special exhibitions on besides the permanent ones like the 'History' gallery and the 'Living' galleries, located on the 2nd floor.
For visitors, its a must to come to this museum, a day or half a day to walk around the exhibitions. Have fun!
I kinda like this online store by them. It sells clothes like sleeveless Tees, Polo Tees and T shirts of diving designs. And they only just started to have dive shorts variety nowadays.
Quite affordable and there's free delivery if you buy more than a certain amount. Can pay through paypal, mastercard or visa. Very convenient.
Other than that, it 4 thumbs up for this website for its efficiency, easy to access website and nice designs. It would be better if they could update their designs more often.
Quality wise, the clothes are quite comfy and durable. And once in a while they might add in a key chain or something together with your purchase. Not really sure what they are giving this time, but I got a cute dive junkie sticker together with my package last time.
The store here in IMM is just as packed as in the other outlets. But the things available there seems more like the others and Daiso really have a lot of kawaii stuffs.. I remember buying those cute brick like containers with blue, yellow and red in color. Its so kawaii! They are now sitting loudly on my table, filled with my barang barang. :D And at the stationery section, sometimes you can find those cute erasers, like golf club or some sushi set.
But if you wanna buy something like a self made shelf, it may be a bit troublesome as sometimes not all the parts are available. I remember buying one of the DIY cardboard based kind of shelf. It should have 3 separate parts actually. They are of quite good quality and it comes with plastic connectors and so on. But it lacks one essential part which I thought, maybe its out of stock but after a few more trips searching for it, its still not available. So in the end I had to DIY with masking tape to hold the shelf together. A pity though.
Overall this shop sells quality and cheap stuffs, its great to come together with family but not so great for the pockets.. ha. you know what I mean. ;)
