If you are a die-hard Car Fanatic, then you will definitely know McWell Ventures. If you aspire to be a car fanatic, you must know about McWell Ventures.. If you have a friend that is a car fanatic.... then the more you should know about McWell Ventures... If you don't have any friends who are car fanatics and you are not one yourself, then its time to know why are there car fanatics by reading this post on McWell Ventures.

McWell Ventures is a well known space to go to when you need to change your headlights from that boring yellow torchlight to the cool super white XENON floodlights or perhaps improve your car's performance by changing your ECU or a simple tuning. The main thing is that they do the INSIDE and they also cover the OUTSIDE. The best thing is that they do it REAL WELL... Speak to the consultants there and they can recommend you the best add ons for your beloved bao bei Car.....

These add ons can enhance fuel efficiency at the same time provide power when you need it. Your beloved hippopotamus can now be reborn into a racing cheetah.... What more if we cannot afford an expensive car, the next best thing is a personalised car and personalisation not only requires good taste, but also great skill, which i believe the experienced technicians at the workshop can help u with. One nasty burp from your car, they could detect whats wrong with it and recommend the perfect cure for it.

Feeling bored with the fat butt that follows you around when you drive. Sleek it with a nice spoiler, straight through exhust to help breath better and prehaps some progressive springs to lower it. Don't forget the shiny momo rims u drool at car shows, in no time you will experience your dream ride expecially with that car fanatic flooding his car parked right beside yours at the traffic light.

If you just want some basic accessories, they too have some really nice stuffs like extra mirrors for that extra view, nice smelling air refresheners, loud and clear air horns, beng-ie lights, belt covers even Funky Stickers... I just got some really nice bullet holes for my dad's car... for that extra something for him to talk about and they have a good range of decorations stickers which are great to cover up scratches and dents.

If you are a Clean Freak... Yes they do carry a good range of ALL sorts of Protection Kits, Cleaning Stuffs, Antiseptics, Ionisers.. and wipers that last almost a lifetime. Look out also for the stock clearance items. I've got a few good stuffs there at a real bargain.

So if you're there... just remember that the workshop is all you see at ground level and get up on to the shopping mall at the second level and if you really really need the loo. Please don't go to the one at the workshop... though its open for use... You may want to try the one at the food court opposite. Please expect to wait if you want something drastic to be done... but they have some couches for you to laze around and read some magazines while you wait...

Cars are never cheap, so are their parts.. But the morale of the story i think should be VALUE FOR MONEY.. and i believe McWell Venture's Stuffs and Services are not only Value for Money, but also reliable and for all i know, they next time i ride with my speedster, i'm sure i'm in good hands....

Those who like savoury rich food should come to lai lai. Serving authentic taiwanese street fare, Lai Lai is a total Gem...

I love the Lu Ruo Fan the Best. Richly Braised Pork with nuts in a tasty soya sauce and some sour preserved veg... It is THE BEST i have ever eaten. Thinking about it makes my mouth water... They have other food like Red Vermicillia... Is that how u spell Mee Swar... and also their braised beef noodle is also a killer. I like the fact that they use pearl rice.. Its nice tasty and chewy... Very Very Yummy! A good assortments of interesting dishes.. which i will not mention and You will find out for yourself what you like best.

For snacks i prefer the chessy funky prata... It has many ingredients inside yet smaller then the muthabak... Very interesting and yummy.. A MUST TRY!

The drinks are interesting too.. I always love the pearl milk tea and i still do...... the pearl is so QQ so Chewy and have a tinge of honey sweet inside. Another must try is their yoghurt drink. Thats what I call healthy yummy food..

Have a taste of Taiwan.. Come to Lai Lai.. Now we know why Wu Zhong Xian don't want to migrate.... Food is So good... Who wants to leave.........

White Dog Cafe-- Indeed a catchy name to recall. With its funky artistically designed Interior Deco. One cannot help but want to explore this place a bit...

Situated in a not so crowded corner of our really vivo VIVOCITY, is another fun restaurant which serves excellently priced set lunches for all our dear lunch yuppies out there..

The setting is great.. with long tables for your big group of colleagues and nice cosy couches for the shopping break tai tais..... This cafe provides a great view of the viewing deck outside as well as the reconstructing Sentosa.. Our Only NEARBY, CHIC and Most Funnest GETAWAY.. With Beach Hunks and that Ooh so sexy low hanging Board Shorts.. Oops.. Don't get me started on that man..... Well the view is great... and whats better to ease up the mood then a nice cute jug of iccy.... coool... Water with slices of Lemons... I just can't Get Enough Of That.. Healthy and No CALORIES.. BEST OF ALL.... ITS FREE

The set lunches are priced pretty seductively.. with much choices to offer... You've got Pizza.. Sandwiches.. Pasta.. Baked Rice.... Chicken Chops and much much more..

Though the soup of the day didn't really make my day, the Pizza did the job. Thinned Crispy crust with a good deal of ingredients.. Its not to die for but acceptably good for a slim lunch... The baked rice taste Normal however.. the rice beneath the chunky cheese Cover is full of sauce and flavour.. which is what i like....

Interesting place.... Must go at least once in your lifetime.... if not Dog will become Elephant.... White Elephant... heehee!!!

    Support the humble restaurants!!!

I love Wasabi Tei as well. The food comes in a good portion with tasty appertiser and sides. Its quite authentic and with the barside seats all round, I cannot help but feel a little japanese.

It is constantly crowded. Mainly because of the very yummy food and value for money prices. However behaving well with good courtesy and being considerate is an important virtue when u dine in this restaurant.

Don't come in Big Groups... There might not be sufficient seat for you and your friends, less you want to take turns to eat on the table.

Do not change your mind after your ordered your food. Less your ears will bleed from grumbling.

Do no ask for this and demand for that as quality food does not necesary comes with quality service.

If you happen to sit by the corners, please make sure you allow ample space for that poor diner inside who wants to get out.

Always put a smiling face even if the stern looking chef stares at you for playing with his cutleries. If you K-L, he will unleash the tiger within.

VERY SUPERB YUMMY QUALITY FOOD and AFFORDABLE Prices.. This Place is FAB.....but NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED.......

If you're going away for a while, they do pet sitting and boarding as well as day care... How comprehensive yar....

For me.. i'm just waiting for mum to get immune to the neighbour's doggie smell and I'll definitely get myself a cute little bulldog as my pal... of course from Taxi Uncle... meanwhile... I am sourcing. YOGA for DOGGIEs.... ZEN.............

CAFE Dining Class Food in the HeartLand.. Whats the difference... I say.. its saving money on airconditioning while we SAVE GAIA.... I am soo In.....

Whoes more In? My daddy and mummy or me? Of course Dad n Mum... Because they secretly rendevouz at the Astons while i was having my boring honey stars with milk at home. Yes.. Thats My Mum and My Dad.. and so.. me and me brothers for once decide to invade their secret eating place by challenging them to a game of badminton.. and guess who won?

Them of course.. but we won a meal at the Astons, just that we paid for it.. I was shock at the setting of the place.. This lousy Kopitiam at the far corner of Jurong East Central next to the not so famous Shop n Save has now turned into a palace. The ChiC Sign Boards and fancy table lays plus if you want fanciful desserts, there is a 717 Durian and pastry there... I was more then shock. It was ecstatic, when i saw the price of the food on this huge beautiful, classically designed billboard... They have chicken cooked with all sorts of cordiments like BBQ sauce, Tangy Lemony tasting, mushroom sauce, not to mention the Ribs, Salmon, grilled or bbq, sausages of a various kinds, sandwiches, burgers... and the KING of it all SLAB ON THE STEAK!!!!!

With the mains chosen, you can now choose your side dish. All mains come with 2 side dish... Hot or Cold.. From Coleslaw, corn to baked potatoes or potato salard... They have it all.. Don't forget to try their soup.. which is so creamy, savoury and smooth......

The food is good.. Crispy as it should be and soft and tender inside. The sauce is so savoury, full of flavour and this is how a good slab of BBQ Chicken should be. The sides weres fabulous as well.. Coleslaw fresh and chewy and whipped potato smooth and creamy...

Best of it all.. For a meal for 5 adults and 2 kids. It cost less then $50.. What a STEAL...... Who says fine dining must have aircon and music.. I can watch TV there somemore......
SAVE GAIA..... (See I'm so IN)

Cheap Lunch with Free Flow of RootBeer Float......

I like this place..... The simpleness and the easy going attitude... It gives me the wonderful feeling of freedom.. I don't know why.

The restaurant is nothing much. With its simple deco and menu, I believe the attracting point is not the food or ambience but rather the freedom associated.

Let me explain more about why i feel FREE...DOM..

As you enter.. there's no waiter's screaming into your ears... unlike some other joints... when all the waiters or waiteress will scream WELCOME...... and it always turns me white and I would not have much appetite later... EARS r FREE of stress..

If you order any of their set meals or main course you could op to have free flow drinks and ice-cream which includes root beer, pepsi n other soft drinks, ice lemon tea or coffee from the COFFEE MAKER.... FREE DRINKS and REFILL.... I like....

Then you can also have free flow of ice-cream... I like that too... and make any sinful combination you want. The last time i went there.. I have like 2 root beer floats before my lunch was served... I like THAT....

The menu was a simple fare.. the normal fried stuffs and grilled jap cuisines.... I particularly like their chicken cutlet or watever u call that in Jap... Its nice.. the chicken is huge and it comes with abundant rice and some simple toufu soup which is filling and yummy.... The fried soft shell crab is also nicey... thats if you like crabs and fried stuffs and calamari also nicey.... But what I like best is that after u finish, the waiteress or waiters will not rush you out.. So you can enjoy as much servings of free flow drinks and ice-cream.. as you sit and chat and laze and snake out the afternoon....

Where can you find nice and filling jap fare with unlimited supply of drinks and ice-cream, not to mention the root beer float in SUNTEC CITY.... I say.. definitely must go... especially for SNAKERs.... I mean... Snake Eaters... Oopss.. I think I should Stop Now....

If you haven't seen HeavenScene... You definitely Haven't seen it all.....

I was idling away one weekday afternoon.. I would not say when and guess what I found....... Heaven...... Must be missing an Angel......

Its a humble little shop hidden away from all the buzzle at level 3 of golden landmark mall; like a piece of exquisite jewellery, sitted there quietly, waiting to be found and Awed....

I was just merely looking for a Belly scarf for Belly Dancing when i walked into HeavenScene. Boy.. The clothes were BEAUTIFUL.. EXOTIC need not say... and Interesting.... I was always intrigued by the Middle Eastern Art and Fashion and this place provides it all.... As I walk deeper into the shop, through the glisttering bead veil.. I found my love once again.. COFFEE and CHOCOLATE aroma filled the small space i breath. What sinfully addictive potent combination. I can't help but have to enjoy a coffee break.

Though the cafe is not big, it is so cosy and every piece of furniture is full of the middle eastern culture. Beautifully crafted chandelier to egyptian tiles on the wall... These decorations can make a mini museum by itself. I love the cups and the spoons best. These self picked and imported spoons have careful sculpted and gold plated ends... truly intriguing.

After chatting with the lovely lady boss, we decided to try her bread pudding and boy.. it was Sooooo Goooood....... Soft but not smashy... The milky and buttery taste is simply too good. Even now thinking about it makes my mouth all watery. It simply goes so well with the aromatic coffee. *slurp*

For an Exclusive Night out to a party with no accidental twins in fashion and for an exotic and intriguing coffee break; My $10 ticket to the middle east.... Cheers to the bread pudding....

An Outing with the GAGA Girls and their Lovable male Pals last nite.... In order to continue the SAGA of the GAGA Girl's Famous "Ha Ha Ha n Hee Hee Hee" we have decided to choose a place less prone to be starred at when we share our nonsensical thoughts louder then usual.

Brotzeit seemed like just the place. First the environment is NICE AND FRIENDLY... You can chill out or party there... makes no difference... The ambience is just so amiable With the beautiful long stretch of high bar side seats to the log like tables and the out door high bar tables to suit every needs.

Just what needs are we talking about? There had been a theory going around:

BAR SIDE SEATS = Available and Looking

LOG TABLE SEATS = Available but I'm With Friends.. So not free.

OUTDOOR HIGH BAR TABLEs = Not Available and We want some personal time.

So next time choose your seats carefully.

Now to the Food and Beer......

The GAGA Girls Loved White Wine which I have to say i'm not such a big fan of it.... But they love the Sauvignon Blanc the best and I believed if you look close enough in the bottle, you might find a baby fish swimming in it... Perhaps thats why I always felt it was fishy to taste... BTW the GAGA Girls are CRAZY DRINKERS.... They way they drink.. I'm sure I can be a fish monger soon. The other drink we tried was the mango beer.. It was a hue darker with a nice mango aroma not to mention a sparkle of zesty note to the taste.

We also tried dessert and the chocolate creme is the best. Its actually creme, coated with dark chocolate and has cherries inside. Its creamy and smooth texture makes the extra calories so worth it. The chocolate was of just the right sweetness and it simply melts in your mouth. As you dig deeper, you will find layers of soaked cherries which is rather delightful.

I must mention about the service. The waiters are so helpful, and not to mention Sooo Cute Looking.... Quite an eyeful i must say... They are prompt, friendly and sure knows what their specialities are. I can't help but feel so AT HOME in this restaurant.. Perhaps bring some cute waiters Home.... Oooppss.......

A must go.. especially single and available girls who enjoy good food, good drink and a good eyeful of cute waiters.....

    GIRLS RULEZ!!!!!!

I came here with popeye after our weekday lazy afternoon shopping spree..

It was one of those places where we always remind ourselves we will go but will never go.. So today, It was pretty much after lunch time and there was no queue, so we went in... The deco was ok... a little too dim for my liking and the sits are tight... We sat on the corner and the table was STICKY.. yes quote me STICKY...

The service was ok.. with many waiters and waitresses walking around however none have got attention for me...

I ordered this nice drink, something with lemon grass and found it pretty refreshing and amazing.. Though it reminds me of TomYum soup, it was something different and I would say special. Popeye ordered the french toast which looked rather Normal and slumpy and it taste great! Not too oily but creamy butter makes it savoury and they give you a jar of honey for you to drizzle on top... TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. As a kiasu singaporean on a shopping spree.. I WAS DELIGHTED...

I ordered PorkChops Sandwich and it was so NICE.... Pork was soft and chewie and the sauce is yummy... It was really fabulous.... If you want yummy high tea.. this is surely the place to go..... Recharge the leg power for more CHEAP CHEAP BIG SALE... Yeah!!!!!
