Checked out this new outfit at Joo Chiat/Katong corner on Wednesday with my family. First impression with the cafe ambience was utilitarian. Basic wooden stools and tables arranged in a forward-looking manner! Bare concrete floor and basic white printed walls with adequate simple lighting. Tables were arranged too close together to maximize numbers. Also, table size is too small for anything else except for one course and one drink each. Cafe supervisor or manager (maybe boss) was a very stern looking lady in darker pink polo. Never smile or greet us at all. Alway staring at the service crew of young boys and girls (who look like past-timers to me). Counter staff seemed to be very inefficient in serving drinks despite the slow weekday crowd. Our drinks took more than 15 minutes to arrive. I ordered 2 lamb burgers for me and my daughter. My husband ordered a pork chop. All meals came with fries of your choice.
