On 19 Feb'10, my family and I patronised Yoshinoya Tanpines Mall. There was a signate indicating prominently behind the cashier's counter which stated that for every certain amount spent promontional giveaways will be issued. As I had both eat-in and takeaway meals orders the total amount came to S$33.50 [Receipt nos:1018]. Upon finishing my meals and collecting my takewaway order, I was confidently told by the server, Ms Ylou P. Sison that the promotional giveaway gifts are out of stock. My issue is that if the staff are aware of the matter than he or she should be professional enough to inform all potential customers before taking their orders to avoid this uncalled for incident.
