Located at 60 Jalan Mempurong, Singapore 759058, off Sembawang Road. It should consider as a rural part of Singapore as it is so deep inside Sembawang, luckily I got the driving instructions.

I decided to give Sembawang Eating House (Seafood Restaurant) a try even though the price looked pricey but there are still those common zi-char items at reasonable prices.

There's preserved vegetable while waiting for food to arrive, I ordered Sambal kang-kong, Fu-rong egg and Fried bean-curd.

Well, the food that I ordered tasted reasonably ok, except the kang kong was a bit oily, the egg salty but the fried bean curd tasted very nice!! Actually I ordered another hotplate beef which did not arrived, luckily it didn't came as I can't finish the food and need to tak-pao home!

Having walking past it several times and never tried it, thus I suggested that we go to Pasta Cafe at Ngee Ann City. We decided to order the set up which a salad, pasta and gratin because we get to try different food in small serving instead of one large serving of pasta. These were what we ordered: Hawaiian Salad, Potato Salad, Caesar Salad, Black Pepper Beef Pasta with Lobster Gratin, Bacon Gratin with Mushroom Tom Crm C, Seafood Pesto with Lasagne.

We were wrong, despite it looked small serving but the plates had depth, thus we struggled to finish the meal! Nevertheless, it tasted rather nice but the costing are on a high side!

A few weeks back, I and my girlfriend went to the new Manhattan Fish Market at Central. This was the second time that we dine at Manhattan Fish Market, our first time was at Plaza Singapura. What drew us to this branch was the great food and of course, the Al Fresco dinning at this branch!!!

We went early (around late evening time) so that we could find a table in the small Al Fresco area. We got the best center table and were just in time to catch the sun set, although had to endure the strong UV rays as I was seated facing the sun! We ordered Fishermen's Giant Fried Platter in our previous visit, thus we decided to order Manhattan Seafood Platter this time round.

The soup was served first followed by the Manhattan Seafood Platter which the waiter BBQ-ed the cheese prawns. Basically it's more or less the same as Fishermen's Giant Fried Platter, the difference being mushrooms exchanged for prawns and the inclusion of prawns! The prawns tasted great, while rather disappointed with the rest of the items, it's just strange that the first time always tasted better than the follow up visits!

Nevertheless, the Al Fresco dinning experience was great! However, there were occasionally screams to disturb our dinning experience from those taking the G-max!

Due to the large serving of the Manhattan Seafood Platter, we took a long time to finish it as we at till night fall, I guessed we occupied the table for the longest time as we would occasionally stop in order for our food to digest and whipped out our cameras to take photographs of the beautiful surrounding. Finally we foot the bill after 2 hours of dinning, but we still failed to finish the food! ;P

Had dinner at PASTA de WARAKU at Central last friday, there was a long queue and it took almost 25 minutes before our number was called. Anyway, we seize the time to take a look at the replicas of its menu, but we still could not make up our decision on what to order. During the waiting time, the waitress offered us a cup of iced coke to quench our thirst ...

This is our second visit to PASTA de WARAKU and I ordered a yummy minced meat pasta during my last visit but I would like to try other item on the menu. Although the service is considered good, it's a pity that the tables are too small and it does not have alfresco dinning like Manhattan Fish Market.

We took quite some time to decide we shall we order. In my thought, should I order pasta again, or pizza, or Japanese curry rice??? In the end, we ordered pasta again!

I'm not so sure that we ordered a set or whatsoever, a bowl of salad was served. The salad sauce or dressing was just too sweet!!!

Soon, my order was served first!!! I order No.37 Beef & vegetable with wafu tomato cream sauce!!! Hmmmm.... yummy!!When eating pasta, of course we shall not forget of chili and CHEEESSSEEEE!

My girlfriend's order of No.34 Seafood prawn, squid & mussel with wafu tomato sauce was also served. Did not tasted as good as mine and the mussel........ dun even mention about the mussel! Of course we shall not forget CHEEESSSEEEE!

Generally, one plate of pasta in PASTA de WARAKU is already quite filling, maybe you should try it one of these days?
