[Singapore, March 2011] The world’s oldest bottled single malt whisky, Mortlach 70 Year Old / 1938 - which is also the first ever 70-year-old Single Malt Scotch whisky bottled for retail sale, is now available in Singapore. There are only fifty-four (54) 70cl bottles in the world but only one (1) has been brought to Southeast Asia. A bottle was presented to the Queen of England, and was later transferred to the National Museum of Scotland as part of a display to celebrate Scotland's culture and heritage. Released under Gordon & MacPhail’s ‘Generations’ brand and bottled at cask strength - 46.1% Alcohol By Volume (ABV), Mortlach 70YO is proudly presented in Singapore by La Maison du Whisky.
