Found this interesting scrap blog shop featuring scrapbook materials like punch outs and stickers, scrap book paper, bag organisers and stamps in tin boxes, and so on... There are also pretty tins and stamp kits. The selection is alright but not as good as Krafers' Paradise which I go to at City Square Mall.
Responsive to emails (the last I checked, they were following up with me on an order) and letting me know there are new stocks coming in, which is great! Prices are reasonable too... Check them out. Only downside is that I do wish there was a phone number I could call for more immediate assistance with my order...

My grandpa-in-law's birthday just passed and being Teo Chew, we favour Teo Chew Restaurants like this one. Having stood the test of time (3 generations), Hang Kang still stands up to its reputation as a stalwart of traditional Teo Chew cuisine.
My favourite dish is the steamed pomfret dish - very homemade style but not too oily and not too salty - just perfect!
The cabbage with mushroom stew dish was fantastic too. And there was another contender - Cereal prawn but instead of deep fried and letting the cereal fall off. It is covered with yummy salad cream and topped with cereal. Succulent and yummy!
Rating: 5 for food, 4 for ambience, 4 for location (Near Hong Lim Park) next to Clarke Quay MRT, and 4 for service. They were quite attentive as we needed to add one more seat for a family member who arrived late... Thumbs up!

Although IKEA is famous for its furniture, I sometimes think the food at the cafe is more of the highlight :)
The furniture is affordable but not very lasting, so I end up buying more knick knacks like photo frames and stuff.
Back to the cafe: Crowded = good food so I don’t mind waiting for seats. Plus since the café is big, I often don’t have to wait that long for one. I would recommend going off peak, like tea time or for a late lunch if you don't like crowds.

        Top favourite 1
: Chicken wings - well seasoned, better than many that I have had
Top favourite 2: Cheesecake - in the chilled dessert section
Top favourite 3: Swedish meat balls – are a must have for me. Yummy!

Bonus: if you have the OCBC IKEA Friends Credit Card... you get a better deal!

Love the products they use - find that it really has quite immediate effects and is of high quality.
Service wise, facials are very relaxing here and my skin always feels like it has been renewed.
Plus if you work or live downtown as this branch is near to Tanjong Pagar MRT.
Quite a pity the last time I finished my package one of the consultants there started to sound pushy (When I say 'pushy', I mean they asked more than 2 times after I say 'no' to signing up another package). So it depends on who's on duty...haha.
Other than that, it is worth a splurge if you don't mind the price...

Knew about Spa Elements through a recommendation from a friend. I think that they do really good sports massage if you have achy muscles.
There are different styles of massage depending on your preference - e.g. tui na and swedish.
What I like best about Spa Elements is that they are happy to oblige if you have certain areas that you would like focus on (e.g. legs or back) so you can maximise your massage time. Tried their facial before but didn't think much of it. Comfortable and relaxing decor...Also has nail services.
