I ordered an Oven Baked Basil Chicken together with Orange Juice for lunch time. The best part is the refilling of the drinks which allows me to drink my Orange Juice without having to “ration” my beverage. Not only that, the lunch menu comes with complimentary antipasti. This makes the meal valued for money.
Food-wise, the complimentary bread is soft and the aftertaste lingers in your mouth. The Broccoli Soup is rich but not overpowering on the senses. The cured ham is well-prepared as well. For my main course, the chicken is very tender and the basil sauce goes well with it, though I find it a bit oily. The potato wedges are crispy and filling, thus making it a great side for the chicken. The greens are a nice touch with the peas a stand-out though the carrots are kind of hard.
The service is also friendly and efficient. The staff will stop and answer any question you have.
But, it is probably the ambience of the place that will entice me to come back again. The interior eludes...
