Went to this outlet of Coffee Club several times, but the last time wasn't a very pleasant one.

Perhaps due to their low table and the inexperience of the waitress, she spilled coffee (cold one, fortunately) on me while trying to place the coaster with one hand and balance the coffee on a tray with the other.

The coffee only managed to spill on my socks, but they could have done better than just offering me some serviette to clean myself. Shouldn't the drink be on the house?

And when the accident happened, the waitress was more concerned with cursing under her breath than apologising to us.

Overall, nice and quiet cafe except for this unpleasant experience.

I tried their Belgian Chocolate Chips ice-cream and fell immediately in love with it! The chocolate chips are chunky and absolutely delicious, while the ice-cream itself is creamy and just perfect in sweetness.

The down side is that Andensens' ice-creams are not the cheapest ice-creams around. A single scoop costed me $4. But if you ask me, it is well worth the price!

"Excellent service!" was the first thing that came into my mind when the boss/manager started taking our orders. His humor and his politeness made our birthday celebration dinner really enjoyable.

The food is excellent. The Grilled Salmon Steak I had was one of the nicest I've tried. My friends seemed to have enjoyed their food too.

As for the ambiance, I find it fitting for its name. And I'll have to give the alfresco bar area a try one day. After all, they have my favourite Kilkenny!

EastGear is an excellent shop for photography accessories needs. They are extremely popular for the 3rd party camera lithium batteries they carry. They also carry lots of rechargeable AA/AAA batteries and chargers, including the famous MAHA/PowerEX brand.

They recently shifted from Peninsula Plaza to Horne Road, which is very near Lavender MRT.

I've only been there once. I don't own a dog, but if I do, I'm sure I'll keep going back.

Their food and accessories prices are supposedly very competitive, especially when you are a member.

They have an impressive dog run too, where dog lovers would bring their babies here to let them socialize.

Although the shop assistants all seem to look a little intimidating to me at first, they all end up quite willing to help. Definitely not the usual "ah beng" attitude in most Sim Lim Square shops.

Their price are really competitive and they carry a pretty wide range of products. One of the more reputable photography shops around.

One of the best known shopping mall in Singapore! It's huge, but yet it seems easy to find your way around. There are all kinds of shops here so almost anything can be found.

If you are a foreigner who is going to visit Singapore, this is a mall that you should drop by.

For those wondering why this place is called Loof, it is actually a clever play on the word "roof", with an inverted "r". Why roof? Probably because the bar is situated on a rooftop, or the fact that there is no roof over the place.

Music there is not too loud, perfect for chatting. And the sofas are really cozy!

Cathay Photo is one of the most popular photography shop in Singapore. Located at Peninsula Plaza's ground floor, they currently take up three units, each catered for different equipments.

Range of products: Excellent! They carry almost anything that is photography-related. Things you can't find in most photography shops, such as Gary Fong's Lightsphere and Lensbaby, can most probably be found here.

Price: By looking at their price tags alone, the prices are hardly reasonable. But more often than not, they are able to give you discounts, which brings the prices down nicely to reasonable levels. Could even be considered one of the lowest prices in town for certain items.

Service: Pretty good. Having so many sales personnel, there are bound to be a few who don't really know their stuffs. But overall, very friendly people.

If only they close later than 7pm. I find it a little too early for people who have to work office hours like myself.

    Kilkenny Kilkenny says:

Perhaps thanks to their marketing efforts, there seem to be a lot of hype about this new Café del Mar. The place's beautiful, with music pumping throughout the night (though I don't particularly liked them).

Chilling out there with a couple of friends was overall a pretty pleasant experience. But honestly, it failed to capture my heart. And being located all the way out in Sentosa didn't help.
