I always loved eating tako yaki;D I tried the salmon flavour tako yaki this time round. Although it was a little disappointing, overall it was still nice.(: The salmon was pretty little and I could not really taste the flavour of the salmon. However, I still loved the taste of the tako yaki topped with the fish flakes, mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. As always, it was a bit crispy when biting the outside, and the inside was soft with the ingredients and flavour;D
There is the upsizing available now, where we could have our tako yaki from the usual 3 balls to 4 balls just by topping up $0.50, which is quite worth it if you are hungry for more.(:
The sausage cheese egg crepe at shih lin is really delicious!;D The crepe was filled generously with the sausage and cheese and it will be best to consume the crepe when it is just served and still hot.(:
It is crispy and the sausages and cheese was wrapped in the crepe in layers, which make it to be quite a thick crepe. I could taste that the crepe was made with a mixture of egg and flour, and it taste as delicious;D The sausages and cheese just simply goes well with the crepe.
They have other flavours of the crepe, and each cost $3.50. will definitely return for it!(:
This was my second time buying from this bread shop.(: It is quite convenient, as it is located just along the walk way to and fro the mrt station. The price was considered reasonable too.
This time, i bought the chocolate bread and the taste was not very satisfactory. It was not very rich in the chocolate taste and the bread was a little dry.
But there is one thing I liked about it, which was that it is softer on the inside and it taste simple & plain. It cost $2.50 for 4 pieces of that chocolate bread, seems a little high, but still not that bad.(:
love the curry puff here^^ The ones from old chang kee can never be replaced by those form other stalls;D
At old chang kee, the curry puff skin is always crispy and the thickness is just right, could nicely taste the fried taste.
The curry filling in it was simply remarkable! it is not too spicy and is rich of flavour.(: Ingredients include potatoes, chicken and quarter of hard boil egg;D It is so yummy^^ $1.30 for a yummy curry puff that can nicely satisfy craves for food, definitely worth it!;D
This time we ordered the chicken wings too;D It was nice. Although the chicken skin are a little dry, the meat was juicy & tender, delicious. (:
We also ordered their new dish, which is the cheese baked saithe w/potato and carrot, the atlantic cold water fish. I really love it;D the fish has no fishy taste at all, and it was flavour nicely & uniquely.(:
The price was worth and the food is just totally yummy. They now have the cranberry juice for choice of soft drinks;D And with their member card, we can have many benefits too. Simply enjoyed dining at ikea! (:
