Usually go there to stay for friend's birthday or other celebrations.I find the chalet too small cos thr's only like one room, toilet. So if there's too many people going in it can be really really cramp. If you have a big celebration i suggest you book a chalet at Aloha or NSRCC etc..However,one of the advantage staying there is there are many eating places, attractions like wild wild wet and the theme park in the vicinity. You'll never starve there and it's easy if you don't have your own transport to get around. So if u're looking for an exciting place to stay and don't mind the crampness you might like Costa Sands(pasir ris).
I've been there to try the donuts. But to my dissappointment it wasn't fantastic neither was it nice. The choc and nuts was a let down.Nothing spectacular about it in comparison to Donut factory. Now when i go to PS i will not buy from there anymore.I have yet to try the donut at the shops below Meridien hotel along the way to the Istana.I think it's only a matter of time that this donut craze dies off.At the meantime i will still look and taste for the nicest donut.
I'm a big fan of Bak Cho Mee.Especially the one at bedok. If u've been there before you would have notice that there's actually two stores side by side.I've tried both and they are actually the same.Just that one store serves with a bigger bowl and the other a smaller one.But they taste the same.I usually eat the Bak Cho Mee with chicken wings and sugar cane.It sure is yummy and fattening.
I used to go there during weekends to eat my favourite fishball noodle and rojak. The queue are always very long so at times my siblings and I will take turns to queue up.The nice thing about the fishball is they are handmade and very soft and fresh. So it's really nice. The rojak's standard is not very certain sometimes it's nice sometimes it's not.Don't eat the fried fish there.Cos it sucks big time.I guess whenever i drop by there I will just stick to eating my all time favourite Fishball and Rojak.
I've been there 2years back by mistake.I was supposed to go and eat at Marina Mandarin and I got mixed up.Brought one of my friend there for birthday celebration. The service was quite good cos i informed them that it was my friend's birthday and asked them if they can do anything. They came with a cake and candle compliments from them. The food was not bad but i guess i would have enjoyed the one in Marina Madndarin more. But it was fun and i got to eat at the choclate fountain.I was glad that at least i got an experience being there.
