Ytd, sat (2 may 09) drove up to dempsey b&j. Had a conflict with a 60 plus lady. This is the story. We were seating by the windows, and i went to take my order, apparently, the table were all quite small and only 3 to 4 pax seats only, 3 of my friends were sitting here and don knw why a lady just took my seat, sharing the table with them. At first they tot tat maybe the lady old, need to rest, so probably she might leave after I come back. But eventually, she did not and demand us to squeeze instead. and she want us to prove that the tables and chairs had our names on. OF COS there isnt. DUH! So she scream @ us and told us to shut up! This go on for 15 mins and none of the staff came to help. Finally, one big guy came over and ask what happened. My guy friend told him how it goes and then the lady's husband came over and also, start screaming at us. and told my friend off. of cos helping his wife. And obviously, we aint looking for trouble. To be fair, not possible us to share with her a small table. It's not kopitiam right? THEN! this b&j big guy scream at us and point his finger outside at a very pissed tone "HEY! YOU GUYS WANNA FIGHT GO OUTSIDE FIGHT!!!! OK?" OMG! Just because we are singaporean and younger and chinese and we can be bullied? Yes! they might be tourists but aint every customers get the same services? I couldn't understand why.
