Beppu Menkan Japanese Noodle Restaurant (Tiong Bahru Plaza)

I couldn't deny that the noodle especially the Oniyama Jigoku is excellent, BUT the service of 1 female staff is bad.

I've never come across a restaurant where customer can NOT chose their own seat.

This 1 female staff simply rejected my request of seats. she strongly disagreed that seat that i've chose. claiming that that seat is ONLY for customers in groups. moreover, at that point of time, the customers there wasn't a lot.

Shouldn't she be more flexible? isn't customers always right?

In additional, during my second visit, i was being asked to pay BEFORE my food is actually serve COS they were eager doing their closing!

And because they were busy rushing they simply ignored when i asked for the refilling of my plain water.

Tis incident happened on 30th May 2009.

If they wanted to all knock off on time, then they should have display the 'CLOSED' sign. So that no more customers will enter.

So if they still welcome customers, then they should be more professional.

Kind of bad service yet RELUCTANTLY, still i have to pay for the 10% service charge.

We paid for the service charge BUT we did not get good services. Think Government should change this policy.

After all the complaints, overall the food is not bad, especially for those who loves spicy food. I visited the restaurant though the service is not that good is because, i am attracted by the choice of the number of chillie you prefer.

And after you finished your spicy noodles, the running nose and perspirations, the burning lips. LOLX !!!
