Get a bite of the American dream as you rock & roll in this 40s-style American diner. Created by Steven Bishop since 1994, the idea was simple & fresh. Besides the A-la carte menu, diners should check out their daily set meals, Chef's specials, Happy Hour & Tea time promotions. Billy Bombers Diner is more than just a typical burger joint. They bring the nostalgic past amid the present.

We always love the retro setting with cool mini juke boxes to play with at the side of the table, the plasticky seats thats makes a farting sound everytime u wiggle and the cool metal container from the ICY MILK SHAKE that's still in my #AwesomeDrinksList.

We were looking for a nice place to have our midweek dinner when we decided to grab a good burger at Billy Bombers.. While we browsed through the menu, we realised that many of the very yummy stuffs were no longer available. We used to like a whole steak for patty on the burger but now there are only a choice of chicken and beef minced meat patties.

We ordered burgers and it looked yummy, as usual burger is huge as ever and love the medium doneness (as requested), however the fries were soggy... The root beer float tasted as glorious and the milk shake was as good as ever (I loved cookies and creme for the longest time).

The interior deco was however a little run down with the mini jukebox badly beaten up with parts held together by masking tape and seat cushions tattered and torn. The place was pretty empty while we were having dinner with only 2 other tables of couples.

Food Quality: 3/5 Price: 2.5/5 Location: 4/5 (Near to Clarke Quay MRT) Environment: 2/5 Service: 3/5

    Will I return: Likely Not

Will I bring my friends: Likely Not

Had been to this outlet several times before. I would say that the service there is quite good and the staff are very helpful. The view there is great, if you are seated at the balcony area. Also, there is a lesser crowd there as compared to teh one at Bugis and thus, one need not have to wait in the queue for a long time. Normally when I go there, I can go in straightaway without waiting at all. (",)

As for the food, my personal favorite are the Billy's BBQ Buffalo Ribs, Honey Stung Crispy Golden Chicken, Yin & Yang Burger, American Fries and Onio Rings. The taste is good and value for money. Also, do order the lemon tea as it comes in a min pitcher which can be shared among two people.

I would say that the place has good food for money and it is very accessible as well, since The Central is directly above Clarke Quay MRT (NEL ). So do go there and give it a try.
